So, how many of us remember people from back when. Do you remember them by name or CB handle? l do better with a handle vs a name. When we were at the National Truck show in Lexington Kentucky 5-6 years ago. A guy came up and stood beside me looking at my sons truck. l asked him if he was ever in Nashua NH and drove for Coke Cola on Rt101A? He looked at me like WTF, when he answered yes l asked if his handle was "Loose Caboose"? He grinned and asked my name which he didn't remember. But when l said "Kamikaze Pick-up" he remembered me as if it was yesterday. But it had been well over thirty five years or more since l had spoken to him. Some people l never knew their real names!  lol    .....Hippy

Paul,  That's how I am with those Hustler rabbit ears. Out dated, probably would work but such a part of my childhood that I just like to look at them & remember... My dad had one the he carried when he drove, had one on the deck lid of his car, I had a set on a couple pick up trucks & my black Mack and my grandpa had a set mounted in the rear quarters of his 1970 Chrysler Newport. Grandpa was a sideband guy way back.

Those old center loaded antenna were classic and fitting for an old truck.

I wish I didn't have to deal with a short garage or I would be interested in them.  I have a stubby Francis on the B because it clears the ceiling without bending.
