Please post pic if you don’t mind

I haven’t had time to check it out much

just pull the blow by filter

it was full of slug

not there before

but oil is fine no water

thanks

the sludge indicates water or coolant! If you in a damp climate this could be an indication your running cold! How ever you got other symptoms!  if your going to keep running it take an oil sample ASAP! if its just water not a great  deal!  But  if its coolant Big DEAL !  Also this could be a Turbo issue I have seen these pressure up the Base before!

Just saying!

The breather is directly connected to the port in the top of the centrifugal filter pad.   I put air to it and it only connects to the port. when did you replace the centrifugal filter last?  is the filter housing dented bad enough to stop the filter from spinning? is the spindle worn so bad that it stops the filter from spinning? before you drop the oil pan, check the centrifugal filter setup.. post pics of the housing and the spindle focusing on where the filter spins. Jojo

Joey what ever link  you posted  Aint workin!

With the water I think it all came from when compressor went out

haven’t seen any since

but haven’t drove it a lot cause don’t want to mess it up any worst

Fjh.  The hole in the top of the spinner pad is a vent and goes out the external vent. What gets me is how the oil is not draing back into the engine through the 1 inch line at the bottom of the spinner housing ?

Yup good question should be a straight shot to the pan thru the block there is it not! Last time I checked  Gravity is still working ! Unless it was just air locked! If that draft vent was clogged!

Hummmmm!

I guess a craked oil filter pad is possible, but ..... thats a stretch... i would be curious how many times the oil filters were super duper tight..

It is hard to know which way to turn, when only one set of eyes are on the truck, and we only "see" what is written. This isn't a knock on the poster, just if a clue isn't passed on, we will not know.

@fjh said long ago that oil sample analysis would be prudent at this point, and I 100% agree, it will show what is in the pan even if no moisture/antifreeze is "seen" in the oil.

Yes to an oil sample analisys.

.a simple halo test will show right away that there is water in the oil, or even drain a quart into a clear jug and let it sit.  Certainly need to know if its coolant, and not just condensation.

Im still stuck on the bleeding breather.....

Get it up to temp, remove the turbo oil return and divert it into a pail with oil in it. Rev it up and look for bubbles. (which will be sorta violent in the pail) Potentially messy way to check, but ???? lot cheaper to clean up than an inframe for no good reason.

"bleeding, bloody, etc" was an expletive descriptor, "the bleeding nut was so tight, I had to get the smoke wrench".

Are you sure that guy wasnt from Dublin Ireland Geoff???  Amost everything a "Dub" ( thats what theyre called over here) is prefaced with the word "bleeding"...  Me bleeding car broke down..me bleeding wife was giving me bleeding ear ache   I went the bleeding football......🤣...
