I put air to it and it only connects to the port. when did you replace the centrifugal filter last? is the filter housing dented bad enough to stop the filter from spinning? is the spindle worn so bad that it stops the filter from spinning? before you drop the oil pan, check the centrifugal filter setup.. post pics of the housing and the spindle focusing on where the filter spins.
