I know this is a Mack forum but I’ve seen some posts about Autocars on here. I just recently got a 1986 DK64 triaxle and for the life of me can’t find the high beam switch. It’s not on the column or on the floor. Maybe something was changed over the years by a previous owner? I’m not sure. If anyone has a idea I’d appreciate it!

86 should still be on the floor........BUT. the switch probably fell apart  and a previous owner just eliminated it and stuck a jumper wire in the plug to turn headlights on .

look around the driver side kick panel for a 3  pin dimmer switch plug, one pin on top, two on bottom

when you are up to your armpits in alligators,

it is hard to remember you only came in to drain the swamp..

Oh, I almost forgot about the floor buttons. I don’t know why they took them off the floor because sometimes both your hands are busy when somebody comes up and you have to hit them down kick switch a lot more effective you know how much shit do you need on your turn signal switch

Ok I’ll see if I can find anything tucked up anywhere. I figured I’d ask around before going crazy trying to figure it out. Thanks for the help.

Agreed! I don’t why they got rid of the floor switches, cars or trucks lol. Now there’s 300 different functions on one stalk lol.
