That was an interesting sale, in that Overnite's extremely rare Cruise-Liners (day cabs) were all there. I knew we sold them a few Cruise-LIners but I never witnessed them on the road. I wanted to buy them however they were in rough shape. They simply didn't hold up. Overnite was one of the chosen fleets doing secret testing of the prototype MH Ultra-Liners (and CH prototypes). james j neiweem Posted June 24 Share Posted June 24 I heard the Mack wouldn't put vendor engines in the CH's for Overnite (Detroit series 60) and that's why they went with White, IH and Freightliner from then on. I think they did have some CH's with Econodynes. Similar story at Roadway I hear. Roadway did have quite a few R's with Econodynes but not many CH's except ex ABF's and Penske's.
