I should have the book version. But i think its 250 lbft.  I developed a knack for them and never checked my torque. I Just did so many without issue.

On spiders, dayton, wobbly wheels like this I don't think 250 lbs is the right figure as would probably strip the nuts

Anyway I'm thinking more like 100 lbs and check every few k's, just nip them up

Maybe do this three or 4 times

The standard wheel brace for these was no more than 18inches long, maybe 24 inches at the max

I posted a picture that showed the different torque for different stud sizes. 250 is a bit steep. I had to dig through my books.  Thanks Paul

I've never checked them with a torque wrench either, but apparently 200-250lb/ft is the go to number.

I just noticed in your update pictures that this truck is Left Hand Drive.. Is Ireland that much different from England??? If not, will you have legal problems operating a LHD vehicle??? I think Australia has some rules about having to change it to RHD or sum such BS???? Maybe Mrs Mack Paul can correct me!!!
