Joey Mack Posted June 27 Share Posted June 27 if you can knock that housing loose, you should be able to unscrew it out of the housing. It has the worm gear on it. also,,,,? on the sector shaft, is there a deep groove where the seal rides? very common... A machinist, can weld it up, and then turn it down to new. Not sure what you are trying to do at this point but there are options other than hunting for another steering gear. I'm curious what the Dog Pound say's.. Nevermind, I thought I was looking at the steering box not the angle box.
