mowerman Posted July 1, 2023 Author Share Posted July 1, 2023 My biggest expense is going to be a steering and tires I’ve been collecting parts for years have all the hard to find stuff not sure if you’ve ever noticed passed post found a Rebuilt five and four quad box rebuilt for 350 bucks with the clutch bought 20 years ago the one in there is junk this thing is all ready to start working on any time. Thanks for that Joey. "wrong" oil will not harm it, may leak, that is about all. At least in the short run, might cause more wear if it was in a working truck. doubleclutchinweasel Posted July 3, 2023 Share Posted July 3, 2023 The PS box in my R had a axial valve setup instead of a radial valve. When turning the wheel with the engine off, you could see the shaft move up and down in the box. Hardly noticeable when the engine was running, though. Oil was engine oil. Seal kits are different to my knowledge on the higher pressure boxes 392 etc. OK I just went out there all I could find so far.
