Enjoy the BBQ...   I did a few chores..  after sweating my butt off, I fixed an adult beverage, lit the smoker, and dipped in the pool..  I think the chicken looks more relaxed than I was...   :)  hope you have a great weekend Bob...  Jojo

The PS box in my R had a axial valve setup instead of a radial valve.  When turning the wheel with the engine off, you could see the shaft move up and down in the box.  Hardly noticeable when the engine was running, though.  Oil was engine oil.  Can't remember whose box that was.

If you look close, you can see the number cast in just above the pitman shaft (upside down in the photo) the exact model should be stamped on the box behind the Pitman arm, There are a bunch of bolt holes and hopefully some number/letters stamped there, Or at least they were on my 392 boxes. Kind of academic as parts are NLA. Some 392 parts MAY fit, like pitman shaft bushing, but I can't say for sure. Seal kits are different to my knowledge on the higher pressure boxes 392 etc.

OK I just went out there all I could find so far. It was three numbers that look like 895 we’re leaving soon to go meet some people I really didn’t want to get too dirty yet.

Could it be 392? That would be nice as parts are available the last time I needed some. It would be a high pressure box. Sometimes the casting numbers are hard to read when they get some age on them. Might have to take a wire brush to it to be sure.
