Well I had some time in the shop this weekend. I cleaned and painted Sanford's fenders. I got 1 installed, the other is on the bench drying. I have a picture of the Moffet holding the fender for me, but that picture wont load..

Paul,  That Moffet is a 1989 model.. I believe they come from Ireland..  I cant do without it..  I do more with it than lift stuff up..  I made a 9 foot blade for it and have used it many times, for different things..  I use it like a farm tractor, or so says my wife...

If it works, it works.  I used to plow snow with my Nova.

My '48 is one of 2 trucks I am Proud to own.  The other is my '76 Big Block C-10.. I wish I had the money and skills to take them apart and do a really professional restoration on them..  So many beautiful truck restorations have been posted on here, and are so impressive.  Hats off to the guys who make it happen...  👏

It'll hold up to anything you care to put on it. I've had 5 ton on mine between Des Moines, IA and Manhattan, IL.

Just ran mine a bit today. 1st time this year. What it burns in gasoline makes me not drive it esp with fuel prices today. It is also my fuel caddy and I needed to pump some off road diesel out of one step tank for the tractor. Once primed it fired right off on 6 volts.

Yes they do come from Ireland.Robert Moffett founded the company in the 80s and they quickly became a best seller in truck mounted forklifts. The company was sold to Hiab in 1998.In 1999 Robert Moffett founded a new company called Combi lift making forklifts which can move in any direction for warehouse use. They now also make automated material handling solutions for any industry. They have sold around 100,000 forklifts and export to 85 countries. Now regarded as one of Irelands major success storys. The head office and one of the plants is about 20 miles from where We live.Roberts brother Sam Moffett is an expert in warehouse design and automation....Nice to see you have one Joey.Id love one myself!!!!
