Gravelguy413 1
Is it worth it to pay the extra cost for a Mack engine kit as compared to aftermarket kits such as PAI etc. ? I’ve read that Mack sources their parts for these kits from overseas markets so what would be the difference in quality? What brand is best?

Volvo /Mack is an equal opportunity Buyer of parts The united nations of parts buying! The parts for new engines and parts in general are sourced from every dollar store on Earth! who ever is cheapest quality is of no matter to them! Joey Mack 218
I was impressed with how the parts for the '90 E-7 I built was packaged... Heck it even came with piston cooling tubes bolts and balls... The Mack kit doesn't.. 1
