tjc transport Posted December 1, 2019 Share Posted December 1, 2019 heat inside the building above 40 degrees will melt the bottom against the metal roofing layer and the rest will slide off. 1958 F.W.D. Posted December 7, 2019 Share Posted December 7, 2019 As a building inspector I get to see a lot of projects. And whenever anyone asks me for advice, I always tell them two things- 1. In-Slab hot water radiant heat. Install a (very) small gas-fired boiler and get a HUGE amount of heat. (and remember, heat rises....) 2. Spray-Foam insulation.
