I had good friends from Indiana when I was young; there big pop was big red; never heard of it either till they brought some back.

And it's an acquired taste. I've given it to people and enjoy their reactions to the flavor. My wife rest her soul compared it to my annual Rhubarb pies as a spring tonic as a gag fest.   ;)

Couse I used to go to Buffalo to buy Squirt Soda  better than alum
