DD: That name Butler brings back memories.. In 1967-8 when I worked for Ithaca Delivery out of the old trolley barn on Wolf Street in Syracuse, the night dock man's last name was Butler and he had a refuse truck he ran days up near where he lived in the Fulton / Oswego area. Could the truck belong to his sons???

Most likely. Charles Butler? They go by the name of Butler Disposal Systems now and are based out of Oswego, NY. They have been steadily increasing their footprint in the Syracuse area the past few years with many brand new Macks added to the fleet.

DD: Thank you.. Yes, that was his name, Charlie...

It is amazing how this old truck hobby shows us how small the world is.. I live in SC and Last year at the Arden NC show I met a man now living in eastern Tenn, also from upstate NY, and we figured out that our fathers bowled on the same team in the early 50's!!
