I only had two complaints about those trucks 1 was the dang door panels were always loose and 2 was all the white numbered wires that when you wiped the wires clean all the numbers were on the rag!

The engineers who terminated color-coded wiring never had to repair a truck.

 never thought about the wiring will have to check it out.  and yes the door panels  are loose along with lots of other stuff

You don't see many old freightliners for a reason. Before air ride cabs they shook themselves apart. Self destruct mode.

I bought a new Freightliner in 2003 the wires were  all tan with numbers on them . With out some information I never knew were anything went.

for as decrepit as our old truck is it has paid for its self many times over. hard to believe some of the stuff that thing has been through
