Popular Post bullhusk Posted January 3, 2016 Popular Post Share Posted January 3, 2016 I was up at the old 309 Mack dealer in Pa last month to get a Glider kit inspection (Pa wants a cert. before a Pa reg. is issued) Well heres one for you guys that I think is a great idea! They take your old Mack (mostly all pre EGR) and rebuild the truck right down to re-railing the frame! I saw some of the resto work and I would put it right up there with some of top Mack builders I've seen and not for crazy money! I told them about my RL700L with the V-12 and the guys eyes almost fell outta his head! I have finished all of the motor and drivetrain work but I think I might just get a price from them to do the cab (in & out elect. and so on) and have finish the truck! I'll keep you posted. Bought a Brand new CX there in 2000, and they helped me keep it going for 12 years until I sold it. They still have a few techs good with V8s, and they helped me with the E6 thermodyne Frankenstein I put together for my F-model. Just a single owner-operator and they treat me like I own 100 trucks.
