On Saturday had our August meeting and checked out a couple of different collections. Enjoy and I will try and answer what ever questions that I can. The Model A collection is owned by Mr Weller and he will be 90 in September you would never know it though. In 37 years he has restored 29 cars and sold 4. I also have a picture of an aluminium lock ring tube type Alcoa wheel.

They are all great, but in the back ground of the last set in a copper colored El Dorado with T tops. That and mine are the only ones I've ever seen.

The Americas Sweet Heart model A and the Yellow Model A speedster are sweet. Trying to place what the hood used on the speedster is.. Thanks for posting them!! Paul

If you are talking about the yellow with boat tail he said it was a cut down 55 Chevy pickup hood He has a blue speedster that he said he used to race antique aircraft a a air show he said it would do 70 all of the cars he did have original style brakes nothing modified except body styles

I guess I missed posting a few pictures. Here is the speedster I was talking about.

Paul, I can't tell the year of the El Dorado in the picture, but there is a '78 owned by Capitol Cadillac in Greenbelt that has power T tops.

Mine is a 1977, we bought it in 1979 and from what info there were 172 made and 16 were power tops. I've only see one more in 35 years! Paul
