GreenGiant2 Posted October 7, 2013 Share Posted October 7, 2013 looked @ a 85 r model with wedge brakes on all 3 axles and no power steering. also the bat. boxes were mounted behind the cab. has anyone ever come acrossed a truck like this with wedge brakes on it and being from the mid 80's. blackdog2 Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 I work for a rigging company that had 4 Penn trans tractors with 2 2hundred gallon tanks you coudnt stop it on a bobtail because of the wedge brakes .The state of CONN. had a portable Dyno that would do spot inspections to see if could stop the Dyno .
