Painted B model cab yesterday

Recommended Posts

Watch the edges when wetsanding and polishing. Those are the areas you will burn through. You tube has great videos on how to wetsand. I think meguires also has some videos on it. A few months after the paint cures you may have to do some touch ups or a final wetsanding since the paint sinks in.

Thank you for all the tips!

I Am not sure I am going to

wet sand. Everyone says

she looks good .

most don't believe me when

I say it was the first one I did.

We made something to really

set off the back of the cab .I haven't

had a chance to work on it the last few days

I will try to keep my progress updated now that

a huge hurdle is out of the way.

Thank you!

I think yours will turn out fine.

while doing my truck old timers

said I was trying to make it better than new

I spent lot of time on it. I don't know if you

saw the patches we welded in it lot of metal work

but I am happy with it I am an expert by no means

with body work . I am a diesel mechanic by trade.

so body work is slow for me Steve

Thanks Ben !

How is The B Wrecker ?

Steve

Pretty good. We figured out that the starter is bad so we have to fix that and the brakes need work too but otherwise it's pretty good. We went to an auction yesterday at the old garage where we bought it, and we bought the rest of the emblems that were missing from the hood, which was good.
