Some I remember, some I gotta look up.Luckily,I had 2 of the best teachers in the world when it came to Mack info,Harry and Spike Nelson, founders of H&L Mack Truck Sales in Mediapolis,IA.These guys were tops,I would literally spend hours listening to them.Wish they were still around, but by me passing on as much of the knowledge they gave me as I can, their legacy lives on.Also,I got a small "library" (spec sheets & folders, owners manuals, parts books, service manuals, books, magazines, you name it)that I started when I was younger than you,and I'm still adding to it.The best source I've found for printed info is the old specs folders that they used to have at the dealers.I've got damned near a full set from E model days up to the '70s & '80's when they changed. There's a couple sellers on Ebay you can get them from, but they've been getting pricey.Once in awhile there'll be a cheap one.Glad I got most of mine way back when.

I have a Mack and really need some help identifying it. The hood says B-67 series. Got Thermodyne engine, I think a concave cab, 9 speed overheat trans. , has a bed on it but I think it was put on later. Does not dump. The truck has been painted over with Rhinoliner. I see no plates on doors, etc.

See if you can find the serial number.. A plate on the right door and also somewhere on the frame, usually near the steering axle spring hangers. Search some of the other topics for a better description of the location. Then send it to the Mack Museum, with a donation, and they will send you all the info when it was built.

Brocky, Actually I found something even better believe it or not! While browsing on Facebook asking questions and searching for any info available I lucked up!!! I came across a group with a picture of a truck looking identical to mine. Titled “My 63 Mack B-67 Pickup Project Build”! So not only did I find out the year. I also got to “witness” this guy completely transform the Mack he brought home into what I have now! What a great job he did!! All the way up to the video shared at the end  showing that he had achieved getting it running then to the pics shared of it being loaded onto a Rollbak at the moment he sold it 8 yrs ago!!! I am sooo siked I can hardly believe it!!! Waiting on him to get back with me so I can ask his permission to show his photos and clips in order to  really get across to people how much work was put into this treasure!!!! Hopefully he’ll agree and I can share them with you all!!! Turns out it is a 1963 B-67 six wheel, tractor chassis, for extreme export, ( not sure of exact placement on the letters tho!!! I’ll keep you all posted!!!

Thanks sooo much!!!!

Tamatha
