  1. According the press release the steering wheel is now easier to grip and use. Was this a problem on Ford trucks? What did they use? A rectangle?
  2. Did someone at Volvo finally realize the Mack brand has more equity in the U.S. than Volvo itself? Did the realize the company could be a huge boom to their global business if treated correctly? Let's hope so.
  3. I think if a new thread is to be started it should be made by someone who runs the site, that way it won't be deleted if someone leaves the forum.
  4. Looks like a U to me? From 2011 ATHS Twin Tiers show.
  5. Looks really good! What was the Detroit in this again? A V12 right?
  6. Modern versions of B-Model, R-model, Superliner and Cruiseliner are all coming back. Splitting from Volvo, will be all American owned by workers. What can I say, I dream BIG!
  7. I assume this post on the Mack Facebook page is releated to the information above? It was titled "A New Journey". Maybe they are brining back the B-Model. Factory tours have been closed for some time now.....just saying...
  8. Interesting indeed. I suppose this free trade agreement reduces or eliminates the need to have a domestic partner based in Korea? Too bad the ProStar originates from a Mexican factory so it's hard to call this a true American export. It will be interesting to see how a conventional model takes to a country used to the cabover model.
  9. I have the same Volvo dump truck! I ran the wheels of that thing as a kid.
  10. Small world, a friend of mine happened to see that truck in Western, NY last March.
  11. The Haines truck could have used a bigger winch/bumper.
  12. Here ya go, submitted to my website a few years ago now.
  13. I don't believe factory tours were offered on Friday last year. At the very least they didn't run any buses. Just an FYI if this is a major part of your show plan.
  14. I thought about but then the CSX police chased me off the street. Here is a White Road Boss 2
  15. Here is a White 3000 tandem axle tanker that sat alone in the weeds for decades. Then someone found it with a excavator and smashed the hell out of it. They haven't even sold it for scrap, it's been sitting like this for months now.
  16. Here is a nice one that was at Beam Mack (Syr) back in April or 2013. The door reads J.B. Stauffer Construction Company Inc.
  17. I just traveled down Rt 12 last week and saw many interesting sights. I hope to make it back soon with my camera.
  18. I went back and looked through all my posts regarding the thread...it's gone.
  19. I can't seem to find it. Deleted maybe? What a tragic loss if so.
  20. Very sad and too young to be gone. Like others I only learned of work after his passing. I wish it had been the other way around. Much like myself, it seems he never crossed paths with a truck he didn't like!
  21. Now that the door has been opened on International 4900s here is my collection. Always looking to ad more!
  22. Here is one I saw at the NYS Fair a few years back.
  23. Yes, the 527 was a low cabover, I've never seen a truck like this one any where else, I've been searching the Brockway forums for the details but have yet to find them.
