    Autocar is still around and the name is now owned by GVW Group LLC. They are free from the Volvo boot I believe and build trucks near Hagerstown Indiana. Cabover/Cab forward trucks are their specialty now.

    I've been told the cab has less noise, a bit more robust around the doors. Wiring is "easier" to work on. Stuff like that. All regurgitated by sales folk.

    I was thinking more about this and now it makes sense. Cat did the market research regarding what people wanted, then they paid for it, then it was "field" tested for a few years. Now, International can cherry pick the best of the ideas and put them to work in their own truck. Genius.
