  1. You are correct, it is going to the Town of Union. I only wish I could see it once its upfitted.
  2. Hi guys, Seeing how there are a ton of pictures of the good old dogs on here, I figured I'd add some new stuff. These are all 2011 (SCR Equipped) Macks that I have seen around. Mack GU712 4x4 Mack CHU613, (currently hard at work pulling a bulk tanker) Mack CHU613 for Savage Mack CXU613 Mack CXU613 Three very similar Mack GU713 tractors
  3. Great to hear! Good luck with it! You'll have to upload some pics.
  4. I imagine some of the initial delay was due to the "sleepers" being built in North Carolina, where as the Titan was built in Macungie. Now that assembly has been consolidated to Macungie. I have a feeling a Titan sleeper is not far away. On another note, sucks to hear about Coverty's Titan being in the shop a lot. Haven't seen the maroon one in the shop yet (knock on wood), its been busy hauling what I believe is asphalt lately.
  5. Thats awesome! I wouldn't mind having it. (Now please don't shoot me for saying that ) But I agree, it would have been cooler if it was a Mack.
  6. I'm really bummed that I can't make it. Were moving showrooms at work which will tie up my whole weekend. At least I get to drive a big truck.
  7. Just to clarify, an anyone attend or only members of the ATCA?
  8. Just figured I'd update this thread. I finnaly caught the maroon Titan out on the road. Its one mean looking truck. The white Titan is now back at the dealer in Scranton.
  9. Glad to hear you enjoyed the tour. I too had the privilege of having Roy as one of my tour guides and he was definitely one of if not the best one I had. I am a bit jealous though, because it sounds like you saw quite a few awesome trucks. There is only one downside to a guided tour...no pictures.
  10. I know exactly the noise you're referring to. I'd say 99% of Mack straight trucks I hear going over a bump make this noise. But I too have no idea why.
  11. Here are a few pictures I took when I was at Macungie this year. They are nice looking trucks, they just need chrome bumpers, 11R tires, and a radio!.
  12. Unfortunately they are. There are some brand specific differences between the Volvo D11/Mack MP7, Volvo D13/Mack MP8, and Volvo D16/Mack MP10 but they share the same block. There are other shared components between Volvo and Mack as well, besides the engine.
  13. Thanks for the heads up. I was hoping to catch it at the dealer before it was delivered, crap.
  14. Update as of 4/15/10, the maroon Titan is set to be a dump truck. It's currently at the body company with the hoist cylinder attached, and is waiting for its box to arrive. I can't wait to see it when its complete.
  15. The Pelleier's will be visiting the plant on next weeks show to see their truck(s) built.
  16. I want to know the same thing as well. I'm curious though as to how they are going to fit in taking delivery of two new trucks when they constantly seem to stress "times are tough, times are tough". Unless thats how they are going to celebrate the opening of their restaurant.
  17. I believe the maroon Titan has also been sold. It has been removed from their inventory, and is now sitting at a local truck equipment company. I'm anxious to see what it comes out as... Also, I heard the there is a "factory rebate", on the new 2011 Titans.
  18. Thanks for sharing! Its a tough looking truck. I was hoping to see floats on the front, but that was wishful thinking seeing how none of their other trucks have them.
  19. It all depends on how you interpret the model year. The show truck was built in late 2008 to be showcased at the Con-Expo in March 2009. Technically it is a "2008", but its a 2009 model year. The same applies to the Titan's for sale at the dealers. They are technically "2009"s, but they are 2010 model years. It really depends on how the dealer chooses to list it, but more so whatever the VIN number says it is. If a particular Titan was built early enough, its VIN number might list it as a 2009. And yes, the maroon Titan is still in Scranton.
