  1. Just figured I'd update this thread. As of 12/15/09, the maroon Titan is still on the lot in Scranton, and I have received "official" word so to speak, that the blue Titan was delivered.
  2. I've gone every year for 6 years straight, I could spend all day there.
  3. Ahh ok, I had a feeling it had something to do with that. Thanks for clearing that up. You think they would have made it a little more "commemorative" though and only put them on the first 100. 1,000 seems like alot, but I guess thats Volvo for you...
  4. Hi guys, I spotted this new Pinnacle at the dealer the other day, and it had "Pedigree 1000" badges on each side of the hood. Any idea what they signify?
  5. Nice, they must have taken it then. The blue one in question (shown below) had "Coventry Transport" on the build paper in the window.
  6. Any word on the blue Titan in Binghamton? I noticed its been removed from the TruckPaper inventory. Could they have sold it? As of today, the maroon and white ones are still in Scranton.
  7. I will miss visiting the World Headquarters every year...
  8. As of 8/13/09 both the maroon & white ones are still at Scranton.
  9. Hi guys, For those of you that toured the plant this summer, did any of you notice the large number of Cummins engines in the plant? It was to my understanding that Mack no longer offered any Cummins engines after the '07 Emissions Regs took effect. Unfortunately I didn't notice any completed trucks with these engines to see where they were going. Are these the engines Mack is using for their Natural Gas or Methane Gas powered trucks?
  10. It reads: "A short 42-inch compartment is the only sleeper option now offered." HDT
  11. Although it looks like a photoshopped version of the show truck, I think the Titan on page #3 of this brochure is supposed to represent the construction bumper and grille. Titan By Mack
  12. That's what it let on to believe, I left the magazine at work so I'll have to check the exact wording tomorrow.
  13. According to this months edition of Heavy Duty Trucking, a 42" sleeper is currently offered on the Titan.
  14. Very good to hear! Could the mean we might see Titans with a factory sleeper????
  15. I think it would be interesting to know exactly how many Titans were sold. According to the latest Bulldog Magazine, there were at least 5. Then I saw one in Allentown near the World Headquarters, and then there was the nice blue one a fellow member posted on here. That brings my count to 7.
  16. Although I never had the chance to run a real dozer, I did have a chance to see a Komatsu D575A SuperDozer. That was by far my favorite.
  17. It was parked at one of the exits of the plant. I couldn't resist snapping a pic.
  18. Here is a Titan I spotted in Macungie with spokes. I thought it looked rather interesting, considering all the other ones I've seen in person or online were all "chromed out". I've also attached a few of the other Titans I saw on my trip to Macungie. (Sorry to re-edit an existing post) Titan with spokes. Titan show truck. Titan outside the plant.
  19. Hi guys, In my opinion, this was one of the best self-guided tours I've been to (granted it was only my 3rd one). I really liked how they had those 5 trucks parked in the plant for people to look at. I think these two trucks were ones Mack brought over to the show.
  20. By the way, I spotted a Titan outside the plant with all spokes. That was an interesting looking truck, I'll have to post the pic when I get home. I think I also have a pic of the chassis you are referring to.
  21. And I guess my name is Julio.
  22. Thanks for sharing that info. As of today, both the blue and maroon ones were still on the lot. I had a feeling the blue one had a lower power rating, it just didn't look like a good candidate for a 605hp. (Btw, their TruckPaper add said it had 605, must have been a typo because like you said, their own website lists it at 515). I did get some nice pictures of it today though.
