  1. The Outlaw Mack was sold to a car dealer somewhere along the outer banks of the Carolinas to utilize as an attention getter. I believe it may have been sold again. The B-model that resembles the first one in this post belongs to Joe Plaska. Joe built his truck, so it is not the one pictured.
  2. Check out Mack Truck books, they are a great reference for determining different models and specs.
  3. For a donation, the Mack Trucks Historical Museum could probably be of assistance.
  4. Has anyone purchased Mack Christmas cards this year? My friend was trying but hasn't had any luck with pacesetter.
  5. Now that shopping is on everyone's mind, i wanted to remind you that there are still a few Mack Day t-shirts available. The sizes remaining are XL and XXL. Read the posts for info and or message me for specifics. The sale of these t-shirts benefits the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of ATCA that hosts Mack Day at Gerhart Equipment every year. Thanks, Doug
  6. I know someone local if no one else is. Doug
  7. I knew it was coming, I just haven't been on here long enough to fill you in. The new updated version is supposed to focus more on new product. I hope it works for them.
  8. Thanks for posting the photos Vlad. One day I will get there in person.
  9. *** Reminder*** There are a few available. Don't you need a Christmas present for that special Mack Enthusiast in your life!
  10. ***ATTENTION*** For those of you who were unable to attend or simply forgot, there is a limited supply of Mack Day t-shirts available. The sizes available are XL and XXL. The price will be $25.00 shipped in the USA. Payment made by check or money order. Shirts will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Please send a message including your name, address, shirt size and method of payment.
  11. It was Will Stoner on his doodlebug, although he may have been doing the Jitterbug while talking on a Jitterbug. HeHe...
  12. I'd been hoping to get them to my place for the past few years, this year the timing worked out. We had a home cooked dinner here at Maney Mack Manor followed up by hours of truck conversation over some Straub Beer. I arranged tours for them on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I would do the same for anyone, that is what this hobby is all about.
  13. We will miss you! Does anyone have a cardboard cutout of Barry for the group photo?
  14. Lunch on Saturday can be purchased again this year from the Linden Hall girls. Since Erica is in her senior year, they have handed down the fundraiser to the freshman class. Be sure to stop by the Linden Hall Sub Sale booth for your dining pleasure. They will be adjacent to the Mack Day Shirt booth. See you at the show.
  15. I'm glad everything worked out for them yesterday. We were up pretty late Monday night on my back porch talking trucks.
  16. It was a great day at the Mack Customer Center. Mike, thanks for recognizing the effort put forth. Months of planning go into Trucktoberfest, much of it has to do with the lunch program. We have been discussing possible alternatives to the sit down somewhat formal meal. Mack Trucks has preferred to go first class as a thank you to the antique truck community, I have tried to tell them that we are well below second class citizens. They seem to disagree and are truly grateful for everything we do to preserve the history of Mack Trucks. When we have the next meeting we are certainly have to address certain topics and see when the next Trucktoberfest will be. I am glad everyone had a good time. I had to extinguish a couple of hot tempers but overall it was a good but exhausting day. (I really missed my golf cart!) Thanks for your support.
  17. The TC U-model should be at Gerharts, it only lives about 10 miles from me.
  18. I'm done... It is as good as it gets, I am going to bed. See you in the morning.
  19. We all know that we can't control everything. I hope all goes well and you can make it.
  20. Friday, gates open at noon until 4:00. Saturday gates open at 8:00am See you there!
  21. I would say 12:30 or 1:00. I just want to be sure each of us can toot our own horns and have enough time to get back for the photo.
  22. By the end of Mack Day I should be completely spent... Ramped up now but I will get my fill over the next 2 weeks.
  23. If possible, could the BMT photo be held a little later. I would like to bring back the Noon sounding of the horns. This was a tradition in years past that somehow got away from us. Thanks, Doug
