  18. holy cow you been busy,,,,got more done in a few months than most of us have in many years,,,,,mine is also caked up underneath like yours ,,,started pulling steering box couple weeks ago then hear come more chores and then extreme heat here lol....so box is still in there,,,,great progress bud,,,hopefully your bolt pattern is the same on your wheels...1100.22.5s are everywhere rims and tires,,,just take your pick and go for the best deal,,best of luck,,,,and yes i would love to be touring ireland,,,bob
  19. There’s been many times, I just got out and put on a couple of singles chains. On the drive axle and felt a lot more comfortable to continue. Hot dogs with long boxers would blow my doors off go for it, bud. lol bob

  21. well, thanks for that according to the Mack manual I have seen from double clutching weasel I think that’s where I saw it. It was supposed to mean 6 six wheel truck, which doesn’t make too much sense to me because that’s what they’re calling. A twin drive or twin axle…. Bob
  22. Sorry I can’t help you much except I used to work at a gulf gas station back in 75-76 always has the same guy delivering our gasoline he was very sociable. I do remember the colors well but it was a LN 8000 Ford twin axle but that’s all I got…. Very interested stories thanks for that… I’ve been around big rigs since 1960 my uncle had a fleet of Brockways. Bob
