  10. All of ours do a pretty good job. There’s only a couple of things I don’t like about them couple of maneuvers you’re better off to use the manual position if you don’t have enough patience to wait for over transmission to decide the gears I ordinarily downshift them manually on a long grade because they drag all the way down to just under 10 and at that point engine isn’t pulling anymore
  11. Took me a while to figure out what you were talking about. I got it …ha ha that thing was absolutely gorgeous .. I originally wasn’t going to take any pictures of it and then I got to looking at it a little closer and I mean it was immaculate hundred percent restoration. There was no flaws on that thing at all every detail covered it actually looked a lot better than the photograph shows.
  12. Thanks for that Tom love that Chevrolet stake body or at least that’s what it looks like possibly grain box amongst many others … bob
  13. Thankfully, they got me in another 579 three axle . Older one ,,,ordinarily, where yours is down they give you something different every day. That’s sucks big time.
  14. I guess I probably better throw. In the fact they don’t want to pay union people to put this stuff together they would rather have it keep failing and save money seems like that would blow up in our face, and they had to keep replacing the junk for free over????????? Lol bob
  15. Do you know I’m not a Volvo fan at all butt company tryed a bunch of them a few years ago and they were nothing but problems but when I think back, it was all computer malfunctions everything else seem to stay together seems these newer ones all have the same issue electric garbage shipped in a can. Produce by sweatshops
  16. Are older T 800 or definitely more reliable, especially right out the gate
  17. You know, I really didn’t think I was going to like them first day in one I was already sold Holy cow after a few hours. This is the way to go after 30 years of shifting them I didn’t think I was going to get used to it that fast… bob
  18. Plus, the fact these trucks are priced way out of control now days as Paul brought up 30 gees for an upgrade, you got to be shitting me!!!!!!!
  19. So the truck keeps going back for warranty work ha ha I don’t know how they could think this is saving anybody money
  20. Clearly, no quality control we’ve got like four trucks over there now for similar situation.. two of them the air conditioners, supposedly fix one. It went right back again. Both kenworth and Peterbilt there really isn’t a whole lot. I don’t like about the new truck. Except the dashboard control knob on the steering wheel .. and the def tank on the right side
  21. Yes, that’s what we got 579 model freight truck so I get all jacked up for one and a half a day. It’s a deadline yes hopefully it doesn’t take months to get it out…. Wasn’t driving it long enough to get a photo ha ha.
  22. Got a brand new Pete here recently was pissing myself first trip very impressive except on the way back transmission issues now it’s in deadline waiting for more instructions from someone… and apparently theirs 3 others over at Peterbilt for computer not talking to components oooooooooooooooohhhhh goody back to driving beat up spare trucks…. Wouldn’t you think they would completely check these things out before they deliver them.. like wow man … bob
