I wound up with another one . tractor bid situation. they did fix the transmission on the other one but now somebody else is driving it, so what I have now is absolutely fabulous I really like it and thanks for asking. This should be the last truck . I’m only going to the end of September.bob
  2. Probably doesn’t answer(YOUR) question , but I thought I’d throw this out there my Peterbilt with triple trailers flat ground it gets between six and seven pull a hill it goes right down to 2.6 ha ha at least that’s what the dashboard says if you’re looking for an average on the job, it’s usually between five and six… like these guys said, and all the depends on what you’re doing with it pretty much. Bob
  3. Hell man I would jump on that good luck bob
  4. Noticed that a while back the wheels look too small for that heavy unit… bob
  5. Yes, that’s the way it works. Sometimes it was a hell of a deal for that price. especially if he is going to use it on site I’ll never have to do anything to it, except maybe change the oil…bob
  6. Doesn’t even look like it needs anything. Thanks for that…. Bob
  7. Excellent, thanks for that.. bob

  9. It’s a 66 and the little muffler is going to go underneath
  10. Thanks for that
  11. Yes, I did not want it to be loud but the stock style underneath Muffler was a lot more expensive and it looked like it was more of a pain in the ass to set it up in there
  12. I’m sure Mike would have all the answers, but we hardly hear from him
  13. OK four days off I hardly did anything weather wasn’t so great around here. I finally went out there today and put the two big ones on then I got to the point where I was gonna have to get a little dirtier so I pulled the plug. Hopefully I can get her all done Saturday morning I’ll certainly do my damnedest
  14. Well, I’m sure we all remember back in the day. They were very loud. It was really hard to talk back-and-forth and the older iron I remember riding with my pop and the U models 68, 6970 they were very loud inside.
  15. I was unable to open these.. bob
  16. But for sure to me, it looks like that truck was stored indoors for quite a while And yes, for 8000 it would have to be in good running condition.
  17. Yes, I probably mentioned around here. Western star is selling a lot of them.
  18. I have heard of aftermarket overhaul parts, but haven’t heard anything solid on anything. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were the same overall parts but no I do not know. Fortunately, my engine runs well with great oil pressure and hopefully I don’t have to put anything in it that is impossible to find. I’ve had four days off and done almost nothing the entire time yesterday I didn’t even get dressed.
  19. It was probably the same deal one lane each direction. Cool story thanks for that. My mom only row with my pup. Once old Brockway around 1955. She said she did not care for it at all. It was too loud and very bouncy. Ha ha.. bob
  20. Well, your guess is good as mine as far as I remember E6 is a 676 Oh sure Joey would know good luck… bob
