  2. forgot to mention, but probably self explanatory. He buys all kinds of shit, but he usually doesn’t sell anything. I was surprised he sold that.bob

  5. but looking at that photo you posted about that old shovel reminded me when I was like kid they used to be a lot of old-fashioned steam shovels they were using on the job back in the early 60s they’ve come along way… oooooooooohhhh by the way, I am off today. Plenty of time to play with my phone…. Bob
  6. I really don’t know what to make of that thing and I didn’t want to hurt anybody’s feelings but I guess I’ll just say it’s very interesting and certainly different

  9. That’s a good idea. I had not thought of that. I know I get emails myself if I get a PM comes in handy
  10. Hey Joey, what happened to you?
  11. I did save a Chrysler slant six years ago by removing the head, soaking the cylinders and tapping on pistons real carefully I was able to free it up and use it. I was wondering if gaskets were available for anything that Old best of luck with it… bob
  12. Welcome aboard bud. Great choice have a ball with it. Oh, I got it. Oil change and filter always a good idea. To change the oil in the rear end and the transmission depends on how long has it been in there? If you’re really ambitious valve adjustment but if it’s running good, it’s really not necessary. but it is part of maintenance. I’ve had mine 30 years and still haven’t done it yet. I’m sure it needs it Good luck, Bob.
  13. Glad this is my last winter had to run 120 miles on tire chains yesterday chained up three times ran out of hours had to get a two hour extension and with that I just barely made it in uuuuurrrrhhhh!!!!. Good thing I took the F150 instead of the Mustang, 7 inches of snow at my house although I do carry chains in the car, I’ve had to chain it twice to get home…… bob
  14. Excellent bud thanks for that. Looks like you got a bunch of us interested?… and yeah soak the cylinders quite a while. I’m sure you’re familiar. Don’t get any hurry bob
  15. Looked it up on Google movie trailer actually shows the scene. Thanks for that.
  16. I have never heard of this since I don’t see many wood stoves these days but a buddy of mine had one with the blower on it you had to turn it down it would get too hot in there very impressive … bob
  17. Yes, I was kind of curious about that because I have one Theo was just going to have shortened, but I just decided to reroute the exhaust around it instead because I figured it would probably be at least three or 400 for that price of just another tank. Thanks for that….bob
  18. Fortunately, most of it is just floors and paint walls house needs siding and windows, but I’m just going to hire out for that… bob
  19. GEEEEEEEEEEESUS TJ that sounds like a years worth of repairs,,,,, I need to take a nap just thinking of all that …. But I’ll be right there with you soon … soon my job hours will be way shorter and rest of my days will be rebuilding just about half this house… bob

  21. Man that’s a lot of work I would’ve just had somebody do it but then again ca ching ca Ching if you’re not doing something like that yourself if it’s just rust, I would put sandpaper on the end of a stick With any kind of light oil good luck… bob
  22. Well, all in good time that’s what we do is constantly mess with these things…. Bob
  23. TJ every job I do turns out to be way longer than I figured and Mecho that is an ugly story. I think you’ve got us all beat. about all I got is too many hours of stressed out driving at the edge of the seat … this is it my last winter thank god!!!!!!
  24. When I was in Cortland , I was thinking of myself. The place is absolutely gorgeous and full of green and that probably means I wouldn’t want anything to do with that area in the winter. i’m sure that’s all it does is snow there
  25. Gotcha it’s still pretty good size it’s a lot more than some of us have but of course we could all use a little bit more storage but if I could have it all, I’d have a lot more land, bigger garage and somewhere where it doesn’t see winter…. Come-on???????
