  2. its a 57 from Turn Of River FD in Stamford CT. it was converted to a tanker in 1977. sad to say that because of that Im sure it was scrapped at some point. they replaced it with a Mack Superliner tanker in the late 80's,

  9. it appears that there is one too many number digits at the end of the string. what are the last 5 again? they are usually 00 then 4 numbers. also do you have the Grumman serial #? its on the yellow DOT sticker in the cab by the drivers seat. thanks

  11. my databases for Mack Fire Apparatus cover the modern era rigs, from the E's of 1937 to today. I am always looking for more info to add to them, and photos to go with them.

  16. and now that I look at the 1970 CF that E253 had, the entire rig from the cab back is identical to the 1969 R models. the pump is identical outlets, gauges and fittings all in same place on both rigs, everything, including the fuel fill door. get that 70 and you got a nice ride!

I looked at the shots I have f E305's R model and their 79 CF. the body appears to be identical from the pump back, with the exception of the fuel fill door. there was a 1970 CF Ex-FDNY for sale in Arkansas a couple of months back. buy that one, remove the body from the cab back and put it on this chassis and you have a pretty good match.

  20. where did yours come from? CF686F-1519 is originally Washington Twp. NJ. I have it last in Evarts, KY. Millburn, NJ's 83 CF also went to Evarts.

  22. R4511 is the Seagrave serial number, SR20756 is the model #. I see you bought the truck from Patrick, he didnt have it too long! good to see its coming home!
