  1. I picked up the Great Dane drop deck and it is now home.
  2. Where at in PA and what is the time frame? I may be going to northern KY to pickup a drop deck trailer within the next two weeks and might be able to bring it back.
  3. If there is only one lane for a right turn then you have to use it but swing wide. If there are multiple lanes for either turn then you stay in the outside lane and watch for drift of the trailer and other traffic.
  4. My old trailer, 2000 Fontaine with 22.5 tires, which I sold and am now wanting to replace with the above mentioned 2003 Great Dane with 17.5 tires. This was a load of Amish farm machinery and equipment from one family moving to a new community in Ohio.
  5. Thanks for the help. If I get this I would use it for moving Amish farm equipment and the lower deck height would be an advantage since everything is loaded by hand
  6. I am looking at a 2003 Great Dane drop deck trailer with 17.5 tires. Can anyone give me any info on 17.5 versus 22.5 tires? Or anything on a Great Dane combo drop deck.
  7. Hi Jay, Hope everything is ok. You stopped Saturday afternoon and didn't come back.
  8. Great videos Vinny. Thanks
  9. Yes he did. They stopped back at the bus about 5 minutes after you and your wife left. They really enjoyed it.
  10. We have arrived and got the bus parked should be good to leave but one other motorhome is stuck and waiting for gound to dry. There are a lot of trucks here and a steady stream of ones arriving. It is clouding up now and rain is forcasted this afternoon. In spite of the weather it is nice to be here so come on over.
  11. Any updates on ground conditions?
  12. I hope Ken is on the road and doesn't see the sideways photo thanks to my iPad.
  13. Still parked 40 miles north of Macungie and it has been raining for about 4 hours. Local forecast calling for rain today and tomorrow. View from the side window.
  14. I am at a service plaza on I476 northeast extension of the PA turnpike about 40 miles from Macungie. We will spend the night here and wait and see what the weather will be. My bus weighs over 50,000 lbs and I am afraid to park in the camping area and then sink to the axles in the mud. I like to get in early and watch everyone come in and get setup but I may wait and see what Mother Nature does.
  15. Everyone is invited to my bus/motorhome for dessert Saturday at 2:00. We will be in the camping area. Stop over, have some dessert and talk trucks. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
  16. Congratulations Randy. You are to be commended for such an accomplishment.

    New job

Congratulations. Sounds like you are adjusting to married life real well and want to be home more. What race team did you drive for?
  18. Good looking rig Ken
  19. Sure Ken come on over. Knock loudly on the door!
  20. Ken is correct. 2:00 at our bus in the camping area. I posted more on this in the post by Vlad. "Long Way To Macungie"
  21. My wife and I are having dessert and coffee at 2:00 on Saturday for BMT members. We will be in the camping area at Macungie and invite all to join us. Look for our bus camper and the red Jeep with a bulldog on the hood. There are many people for this great event and I find it difficult to meet many BMT members so we thought a dessert get together after lunch would be a good oportunity for everyone visit. We did this last year and had a good time. This would be a great time to meet Vlad and his son and Mack4ever and whom else is visiting with them. Remember, 12:00 noon at BMT tent for group photo, have lunch and then come to our bus at 2 for dessert.
  22. I was surprised when Mike called and said he was going to be at Truck World in Hubbard, OH and could we meet. Since I live a mile and a half away, an hour later we were shaking hands. It was great to meet the man we have been praying for during his recent illness. He looks well and healthy! Mike, thanks for calling. It was a pleasure meeting another BMT member and looking forward to meeting more at Macungie.
  23. That's good news
  24. Ken, If it were me, I would take it to a truck/trailer garage and have it inspected and have the peace of mind knowing that everything is working properly and is safe. In the Lawsuit Happy Society we live in today, it does not hurt to be over cautious. I believe cost should be around $50
