  1. Yep,screen door bug screen, same owner/operator for 30+ years, fresh off the road, think he was leased to LandStar. It looked straight out of the early '70's,outlaw steel hauler special. I wish I could find my pics, that was before digital camera.
  2. Talked to Jerry Howard at Walcott,he sold this LJ back to the man that used to own it before it was sold to & restored by Bill Bell. Its back inAlabama.
  3. Dave,I didn't realize until I talked to Jerry Howard last week at Walcott which truck this was. As nice as it is now,it was 100 times cooler before it was restored. Jerry brought it to Walcott right after he bought it and I fell in love. That thing dripped cool. Got any before pics at all?
  4. none of the F model cabbed Hayes trucks there?
  5. you dont want any play in that latch, thats why your door wont stay closed the nuts are loose for adjustment, but they should tighten up with the screws. I've had trouble with them working loose,a little lock-tite solved problem
  6. yes, they were the big off road version, lots of them used on the Boulder Dam
  7. Yep, I don't know who restored it,but that was a major boo boo .
  8. I'll get the name of the place next time I see him.
  9. I'm surprized nobody has mentioned the flaw in the otherwise perfect former Yaworski B873SX
  10. You musta had breakfast at the place my buddy Larry stops every time he's in FL.
  11. Yep,those front panels are still floating around, lot easier to fix than a rotted cab. F712 is correct for 300+ ETAZ673A
  12. Jim is right,It's got the dual intakes for the tip turbine like the early ones had. That cab looks damn good other than the front corner
  13. That truck came out of Dick Guerra's(?) collection. They have his old 951 Diamond T also.
  14. Good visiting with you too.Hope you had a good ride home.
  15. that was rows of straw,Vlad. also know as hillbilly bleachers
  16. I was going to look at the card to see who owner was,but I get distracted alot while I'm there. I'm guessing it belongs to owner of the wrecker. It is a 505A,I did notice that. 1st time it's been there.
  17. I have trouble with my EF too. I have to flip the catch mechanism on the door to one certain spot in order for it to stay closed. I finally had to start locking the door at shows because the window got broke from people trying to slam the door to shut it. Which makes me think of a question I have.
  18. I'll look next time I'm there. They just dug this one out of storage, glad to see it again.
