  1. Seems like they've been featuring a lot more older trucks lately.
  2. But guys, it's a rare find...prolly the only one ever built with an M6 engine.
  3. The VIN provided says built 9.6.72
  4. Two Indians and a Cajun were walking in the woods, all of a sudden one of the Indians ran up a hill to the mouth of a small cave. "Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!" He called into the cave and then he listened very closely until he heard an answering, "Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!" He tore off his clothes and ran into the cave. The Cajun was puzzled and asked the other Indian what that was all about, was the other Indian crazy or what? "No," said the Indian. "It is custom during mating season, when Indian men see cave, they holler into cave opening. If Indian gets answer back, it means Indian girl in cave waiting to mate." Just then they saw another cave. The Indian ran up to the opening of the cave, stopped, and hollered, "Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!" Immediately, there was an answering "Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!" from deep inside the cave. He tore off his clothes and ran into the cave. The Cajun wandered around in the woods alone for a while, and then he came upon a great big cave. As he looked in amazement at the size of the huge opening, he was thinking, hoo, man! Look de size o' dis cave! It be bigger den dose de Injuns foun'. Der mus' be some really big, fine womans in dis cave. He stood in front of the opening and hollered with all his might, "Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!". He grinned and closed his eyes in anticipation, and then he heard the answering call, WOOOOOOOOO! WOOOOOOOOO! WOOOOOOOOO!" With a gleam in his eyes and a smile on his face, he raced into the cave, tearing off his clothes as he ran. The following day, the headline of the New Orleans Times-Picayune read: "NAKED COONASS RUN OVER BY FREIGHT TRAIN."
  5. Paul, you missed this warning sign
  6. Good thing you have a B53 mixer cuz that holes gonna need a lot of concrete in it.
  7. Well, from the looks and sounds of it, what with you conversing with the beasts and all, youse is a regular St. Francis of A-Sissy, and of course we hafta accept the word of a saint, so youse gets credit for digging the holes...this time (next time set the camera up on a timer so everyone can enjoy the fruits of your labor).
  8. Hypothetically speaking, yes.
  9. Absolutely right Randy, it is quite easy to condition yourself to the heat. I have found that by introducing a more immediate pain to the body the mind no longer concerns itself with the heat. I theorize and postulate that if you were to stake yourself out on a fire ant hill that almost right away you would be worried about the sun at all.
  10. Have to agree with Glenn. If you take the radius out of the fillet area on the crank it will produce a stress riser and cause the crank to snap.
  11. Engine oil pan drain plug-55 lb ft. transmission drain plug 25-30 lb ft. transmission fill plug (T300 with o-ring seal)-35-50 lb ft. Torquing the NPT pipe plugs is not critical, make sure they're tight enough not to leak or to unthread by themselves. Don't overtighten the o-ring sealed transmission fill plug, it takes alot more to remove them than it does to reinstall them.
  12. Happy birthday Slpwlkr, hope you have a good one, maybe get a nice shiny Mack to replace that tired old Peterbilt!
  13. It's supposed to slide off. If it won't slide off you may be able to set up a large puller. If it is really seized on the dead axle spindle you may have to cut through the bushing housing and the bushing.
  14. I would've come unhinged long before the drain plug fell out.
  15. Get well soon Ernie.
  16. There is no ring on the one piece bushing. The sleeve, bushing, and ring are all one piece which presses into the trunnion housing.
  17. Has a picture of (I think) a Herefordshire on the label. They have a regular kind and a fajita marinade, both kinds pretty good.
  18. Tom, you ever tried Claude's brisket marinade? Pretty good stuff, I like it anyway.
  19. Snap-On has several complete sets. Sets A157C and A158B have the driver sizes you're looking for, but they may not fit your current driver handle.
  20. Make sure you get them pictures, else ways Rob and Mark are gonna hafta convert the racing balloon for an aerial reconnaissance mission
  21. Yes, routine maintenance is the key.
