  1. 6 speed with auxillary with a 2 speed rear? what the hell? looks like it has one lever to me and looks to be a roadranger.... maybe im wrong. what a waste of those classic logo mudflaps. actually must be a trend. i see a lot of LTL and L9000 ford log trucks here in upstate Ny with Mack camelbacks under them. must be they prefer them in the woods. one guy had about 12foot of frame behind the cab and a 12 foot box and a set of camelbacks. the front rear tire was right behind the fuel tank. takes all kinds...

  2. ok i give, whats the difference between an LRH and LGH? treadpattern? im runnin a pair of ST244 LRH's on the front of my B61. doesnt really matter what you put on it anyways, it along with any single axle truck is scary in the rain. i do know the pair of 244 BFG's cost more than the four cooper recaps that i put on the back.

  3. the white one in boonville is pretty rough. think the frame is cracked and the rear ends gears are screwed up. the guy also has a black one which is a repowered b42. i know because a friend of mine built both truck. he use to run the white one everyday with the big boys. use to be really nice about 15 years ago. think its a b53 with the fishbelly frame. the same guy also had a BCR in the back woods. the guy is a scrapper so thats whats the demise will probably be with those trucks cause i dont see him gettin what he wants for them.

  4. yup, was gonna say, few boards on the ramps to jack the front up a few inches after the back is on and it would have cleared. was down in albany friday night and sat and near saratoga sunday for a truck show. i imagine you got off in lake george and took 149 over to vermont?

  5. use to be used a lot here in upstate ny. mailnly for road jobs like everyone said. my grandfather worked on I890 in Schenectady when Gull contracting and Valentie worked on it. they all had belly dumps, some on B62's and B42's and R models and diamond Reos. he said you could move lots of material fast without stoppin. said they would go down the road 40mph and hit the button and watch the sand spread everywhere and the dust would fly. back when truckin was fun, no one got tickets on jobs like this and the state troopers had a nice little trailer set up by the big men with women on the side.

  6. the B61 in Utica is a friend of mines old truck. the guy also has a black one and a BCR that sits with these trucks. its actually a B53 with fishbelly frame i think and has big rears. use to be a pretty truck about 15 yrs ago he use to run it and said it would do about 90. it was pretty cobbed up tho. the B41 is actually a nice truck but its a B42. think its an old eastern rock Products truck( now Hanson Aggregates) . that yellow B30 is sure pretty. i kinda like the B42 with budds in orlando. i was told no more after the firetruck!

  7. so ive been in back and forth contact with the seller and i think we are pretty much good on the deal. he has new hood chrome and a nos steering wheel that goes with it. he said the left front tire is a spare and the right is flat, which leads me to this question. we all know and assume its built on a dodge truck chassis or as least mack frame with dodge front and rear axles. i assume the tires are 8.25 20's oe 9.00 20's and they are Budds. i assume they are old school split rim blow ur head off design budds like studebaker used? does anyone know if i can get radial 22.5's in budds? id like to at least run a 900 20 radial and maybe a 1000 radial if it will fit. whats a 8.25 or 9.00 tire in tubeless radial form if they even make them? 9R22.5? thanks, Matt
