that trucks been done for a while. was a write up a long time ago of it and the owner in double clutch or wheels of time i think. wish i could find me some B 43 emblems . lookin for a few pair but i think most of the B43's were exported for some reason and went to australia and overseas when new

i was so in aw of seein another B model on the thruway at the same time i couldnt even wave. i was in shock haha probably first time two b models have passed each other on the thruway in 40 years
-
John, Heavyhauler. i believe i saw your L model on Matt Pfahl's lowboy sunday around 10 on the New York thruway around Syracuse. he was headed eastbound and i was headed west in my B Model going to the show.

soak those catches up and heat the nut a little with a small torch and use a phillips but for a 3/8 ratchet instead of a screwdriver, they have more bite
-
detuned 673 which only had 150 hp and most had an adapter plate with the 67 series transmission. im lookin for a pair of B43 emblems if anyone ever runs across them.

the B 81 is just sweet. too bad Tidewater mack isnt around. they use to sell that whole front fender kis for $1000. i noticed the grille in the ex firetruck but what about the old school metal round dash thats the new Mack r model dark charcoal color? someone went through alot of work to repaint that and looks like they took it all apart and took all the switches and stuff out and it had the newer R model padded doors

the blue one was pretty nice. had a beige interior with the metallic blue it drew a lot of attention. the owners father bought two just like it brand new from East Syracuse truck sales and were leased to Chemical Leeman then A R Gundry

better off with a pencil etching of the vin off the frame and a pic of the vin tag in the cab and make up a bill of sale with that number and forge the signature. thats what i did with my B613T. better off having no paperwork sometimes in New York State cause the idiots behind the counter dont have a clue half the time anyways.

looks like a fairly common Fontaine wheel 60's vintage. i looked high and low for one for my B model a few years ago. scrap went thru the roof and i was searchin for a Fruehaif cast wheel or a fontaine. finally bought two off John , the guy with the sidewinder LMSW in Nj for $200 for both.

i think those PBR s might taste like piss after co mingling in that cooler with those skanky beers haha
-
PBR, a man with my own heart. had about 15 of those last night, was a little rough today. PBR has been getting poplular here in upstate ny over the past year, some bars even have it draft. as for Bud light. anything made by anheiser busch is pretty much mass produced crap in my eyes, cant stomach it and one budweiser will give me a headache. prefer the darker pale ales myself or any dark beer for that matter.

seems we always take a week vacation in sarasota fla at the end of juky for the past 3-4 years, thats when my fiance's daughters b day is and she lives down there.i swear all those people in fla do is ride around in boats and cars with ac and drink. pretty cool watchin them pave the roads at night when its cooler tho. spot a few old Macks down there still runnin. aint gotta tell me anything about the heat. it was 95 here in upstate ny yesterday. only thing good is theres no grass to mow. bad if your in the lawn care business tho.

hmmmph, i was told not to show up Mr Vinny........

we have a 1961 B42 and the frame and truck is red.course it could have been a leftover to, have seen a few 1962's that had green frames original to but could have been special ordered to i guess. around this time they started paintin the diamond plate treadle valve pedal gray instead of black and the crossmembers were no longer welded on top with the little oval left on top to trap dirt.bout this time they started havin the standard Delbar mirror brackets from the factory also. just small things ive noticed.
-
green sheet metal, red drivetrain. i hated when Mack switched over around 1962 or 1963 and started painting the frames black to be simple.
-
yup, was gonna add that

shooter is badass but he is nothin like his old man. sorry but Waylon was one of the best country.rebel country singers there ever was. even better than johnny cash in my opinion.

god i thought this was gonna open up with ''i was awolken by a warm wet tongue upon my...................''

B39 muat be pretty rare considerin they never made one haha. love the brown western steering wheel in that RL600
-
i would probably even ditch the tripple frame and just put the B81 sheetmetal on a modern drivetrain. never see any square fendered B81 with air ride suspension

pretty odd if your little B20 has a 72 series transmission. should have a little 4 speed spicer or a TR77 series of something. if you could find a double overdrive baby quad it would probably bolt right in . not certain but if it has a single reduction rear end the housin is different on the inside and doesnt have the supports for a double reduction hogs head to bolt in. the hogs head is made to fit in the housing tightliy with the supports on the sides of the bearing cages and they fit against the housing. not that it matters but im thinkin higher gear hogs head might be scarce for that.
