  1. Good to hear you are staying busy Mark, hang in there, Fall is around the corner and cooler weather! Heh,,if you get tired of "truck friendly" areas, hang you a dump bed on there and come on down. I have been hauling and dumping off road for close to 2 weeks now, and the worse thing I have to dodge is cows, had a standoff with unruly Longhorn the other day, but the "bulldog" won, I guess Im lucky i didnt get a horn through the radiator though. I really am ready for cooler weather and a big bowl of chili to go with it,,,later,,randy MOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
  2. congrats on new account and welcome back! randy
  3. Wella,,Wella,,ifn you get bored up there Dog, strap on yur six shooter and slide on down here to texas. We got shit going on and flying round here on a regular basis. My favorite pastime is leaning my head over a fire ant mound and see how many drops of sweat I can get to land on an ant before he runs,,,good times roound here and lots to do. randy
  4. Rhasler, the mine I retired from was still running 1971 model DART haul trucks. They had 4 still running and probably had that many more scattered around the "hog" yard in various stages of disassembly for parts. I worked at different mine sites for the same company, the first site I worked was running mid or late 60 model long nosed EUCLIDS with V12 cummins. Those were some really fun trucks to drive! When they retired them they went to brand new 777 cats with belly dump trailers. heh heh,,several venders drug different brand dozers through the gates for testing and to try to sell, but nobody could push CAT aside on the dozer part. Marathon Letourneau tried their "test" unit one time and it took 2 weeks to get it unstuck and back out the gate,,LOL. The strip mine is a really good proving ground for equipment. randy
  5. Yeah Thaddeus, I will take that in a Granite Package! I just gotta figure out a way to pay for it,,,randy

  7. The story I heard Dog, one person ordered them for his contstruction co. in Peru, paid cash for 30 of them, then something went awry in the deal somewhere, dont member what though. That one is located in dallas at freightline dealer. randy
  8. Dog, u is just a genius! thanks, looking at that truck makes me drool more than i usually do. I dont know rhasler , says they are 100,000 lb rear end though, i could give them satellite gears a good warming up where im working now, Thanks Dog, will mail you some ice cream,,,heh heh,,,randy

  15. I do believe you have this hypothetical situation well under control, very nice work! Im just gonna assume you dont need my hypothetical welder and kinda just back on outta here, randy
  16. Hypothetically, I will accept "tight" cash. randy
  17. Ahem,,,The easiest and most durable way to make a hypothetical repair of the nature you have mentioned is to make the repair with a hypothetical welder using hypothetical 7018 rods at a hypothetical heat range. Yes, the welder is a little more expensive, hypothetically speaking, but, if you cant locate one, I happen to be a hypothetical dealer of aforementioned product, and if you will send money, (cash only of course), sum of $3500.00, i will ship you one of my hypothetical welders, throw in hypothetical rods, no charge for the rods, and in just a few hypthetical days you will be the owner of a new hypothetical welder, hypothetically speaking again, of course. Thank you for your hypothetical patronage,,,randy
