  1. Brocky, LHD trucks over 25 years can be club registered and driven for club events, shows etc, but cars over 30 years can be fully registered LHD, at least in Victoria.
  2. I've never checked them with a torque wrench either, but apparently 200-250lb/ft is the go to number. https://www.khitch.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/IMSB-Hub-Wheel-KPM-003-0310-Rev-5.pdf
  3. I've got a Seats Inc in one and a National in another truck, and yep, the national is like sitting in a lounge chair compared to the seats inc.
  4. Well nothing like getting a half day head start to really make the most of it Joey. Enjoy the day mate, reckon you've more than earned it. 🍻🍻
  5. Hell yeah, happy birthday Bob. Have a cracking day mate 🍻🍻🍻
  6. Just ordered a couple as well as the 125th coin. Looks like another cracking job on the coins Barry. Great work!🍻
  7. Bob, it's the same over here. Made in America, made in Australia, made in Slovakia, every country MUST have the means to support itself. Process and manufacture what is necessary to support its CITIZENS.... We have so many resources over here, as you do, but produce bugger all now. Yet we are able to sell those same resources, ship them half way across the globe, then ship finished products back. And think that it is cost effective? It's not the countries that have been outsourced to that are the problem, they're offered work and take it on. It's the globalist agenda that's racking in all the backdoor profits. All on the back of essentialy slave labour, and destroying all our economies at the same time.
  8. Yep, hit the nail on the head there.
  9. Bit cooler here this morning Paul, nice drop of rain to settle the dust as well. No good about your mum mate, that chemo can really knock them around. Looks like the Midwest is in for a few ordinary days over there. Hope anyone around there is alright. https://abcnews.go.com/amp/US/1-dead-severe-storms-sweep-midwest/story?id=119827427&cid=referral_taboola_feed
  10. Yeah that was an Aussie built version, the mob that brings in the Reo's also do the Kalmar yard jockeys
  11. Dunno about Diamond T, but there was a company that brought back Diamond Reo, at least over here in Aus. Based on a CNHTC Sinotruck. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://powertorque.com.au/return-of-the-reo/&ved=2ahUKEwi81cjQrfWLAxU2zzgGHTcmBDwQFnoECDcQAQ&sqi=2&usg=AOvVaw2l6JhX7rYFnwmMhuflQDDC
  12. Yeah I reckon that's what fjh was referring to. I'm thinking he probably has the updated design though.
  13. Shuttle valve only allows activation of range cylinder when stick goes to neutral. The splitter gets an air feed straight from the reg, and a signal feed from the shifter. Splitter will shift as long as there is no load on gearing. Breakdown of splitter cylinder
  14. Most roadrangers run a filter regulator, sort of like your shop air compressor filter reg. Mack usually run an additional spin on chassis mounted air filter.

  16. He could leave the EGR crap on there, it wouldn't be functioning if he could use the AI engine loom and ECM. Providing they use the same sensors and EUPs I couldn't see it being an issue. Cam timing may come into play? Don't the AI have the restrictive exhaust manifold, and the extra bump on the exhaust cam? To facilitate the IEGR.
  17. So the "new" motor is definitely an AC? Have never seen one, we weren't blessed with them over here in Aus. Anyway, regardless of what it is, someone has put considerable effort into making that engine look "new". Couldn't replace a hose, but painted all the bolt heads, fan mount faces and a few nuts silverπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ Without pulling it down, it's nothing more than an expensive boat anchor. Sorta like putting lipstick on a pig. Just sayin.
  18. https://costeffective.com.au/product/rmi-25-cooling-system-treatment/ I use this and a few of their other products. Works really well, you'd be surprised the amount of filth it'll pull out of a rusty cooling system.
  19. There'll be slight differences in some of them, inlet outlet position and connection, manifold mount angle, etc. Some are just supersessions of previous numbers and some will reman numbers. These guys are in PA, might be worth a call. https://momentumworx.com/mack/?srsltid=AfmBOopssZviGnxvGTkEhr2LIJZFpAGTZp41VDAq7NheTnzhhL1opr-z
  20. Good work mate, all good things take time. Hopefully you got to enjoy the down time.. So now the big question, is the new motor an ASET AC? And if so, can it be sold to find an AI?
  21. Should have an 18spd Eaton in it. Funny how all the fluid filters get changed, but that little air filter gets forgotten about. Had a 15yr old truck come through that still had the paint on it from factory πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ. Sounds like it's lost pressure and kicked itself out of high split? Shuttle valve would play havoc with the range shift not the splitter, I think? Joey, you'd be all over these trucks, Etech CCRS roadranger, mostly meritor drives on hendrickson air. Only real headaches are the cab and electronics, being Renault. And that they're now 20 odd years old.
  22. Good find there Bob. Bugger you weren't a few days earlier. At least you got onto some good tires out of it. Adam
  23. Yeah most have the spin on filter in the supply line to the gearbox, unless it has been deleted. Should look something like this Unless you have an air dryer mounted back there. Some pics will soon tell.
  24. Has it got a spin on air filter up in the rail somewhere behind the gearbox? The air line that runs into the filter/reg at the top rh rear of the box should come from the spin on if it has one. You can also pull the bottom off the filter reg and give it a clean out.
  25. Looks like it's for a 350. Hope this helps
