  1. I dont know what to tell you Bud,,, dont know why the truck is deleted, the G-Men made truck builders put big issues in the ECM's if they get deleted, so that you would get it in the A$$ when all you want to do is make a living.
  2. I may be jumping too far ahead, but I got a 2009 that was deleted, to start and run right by using a starter button. the 39 MT starter in your truck is pretty good, the little space ship celenoid that is bolted to it can fail, but I think you said yours is new. I am not very smart about deleted DPF/DEF trucks, so I wont be much help...
  3. well, deleted trucks cause lots of issues, do you have one of those hand held push buttons to clip to the starter? then turn the key on and see if it fires up.
  4. will it start with the key in the 'ON' position? is it wired up correctly, one of the wires has a red band on it..
  5. is this a cranks but wont start,,, or a ,, it does not turn over?
  6. nevermind,,, i suck...

  11. Yo I'm Italian !!!!! You Dammed Racist.... I like that one. I never heard it before.. Kinda like a flat Italian tire, its only flat on the bottom and goes Wop-Wop_Wop..
  12. Here is my new part time ride at my City job. I like sitting in the big seat every once in a while. Just wish it had an 8 LL.. but the Allison 6spd. did a great job..
  13. Years ago, i had to deliver a repaired DMM back to the quarry. It took over an hour to make the short journey. Top speed was 45 ish..
  14. I hope the anal probe goes good. Jojo You gonna post the pictures?
  15. yep,, Brocky, thanks for reminding me.. they were built offset so that Dump/Mixer driver could see better when backing up. Which was quite a bit of there driving..
  16. I bet they were Mark, the ones I drove were quite stout.. of course they were '78 and '79 models... E-6, twin stick, I really like the X-107 transmission.. way better than the replacement 2070...
  17. I dont know all the in's+out's, but the U's I saw were short nosed and short framed, and set up as tractors.. But I have probably only seen a dozen or so U's.. I drove a small bunch of DM's. They were all tri axle dump trucks.. Thats all I got..
  18. I was able to stomach a few minutes of ''Cornpop'' pandering to Black Men at a couple Black Colleges,, (H.B.C.U.) Whitey don't have those...,, anyway, I was proud to see how many students turned their backs, or just sat there will a mad look on their faces.. I hope ''Sleepy'' keeps going to H.B.C.U.'s.. He seem's to be helping those of us that love America... I would love to see Black folk's come to their senses and see which Party really cares about their success, and ability to acheive on their own..
  19. Hey Mech,,,, Our small city is always looking for good 'Refuse Tranport Specialists'',,, just sayin'
  20. R.S,,, I can say that this group of guys is always ready to help. As far as the old parts, I would keep them, even if they are obsolite. You may be able to help someone out because you have the part. As far as old tools... I have a bunch of old tools.. Some were my Grandfathers tools, and some ( that I still use) were tools that my Mentor gave me or showed me how to make and use, and recently aquired some tools from a friend, that are still in boxes, and I know where they are when I need them. My pride for what I have learned about Mack trucks, and other trucks, as well as the people who helped me, are the reasons why I will never get rid of them, until my days are numbered and I can pass them on.. I always believed that what we do as truckers and truck mechanics is a brotherhood. We need each other.. best of luck with the Old Girl, she'll be up and running soon.
  21. I think its .008''- .010'' end play. but FJH made it easier to do.
