  1. so air is delivered in 2 spots because you have a range fork and a splitter fork. both need air pressure on the ready. the pilot is what tells it to shift up or down. the air supply to the DC-4 can come directly from the secondary tank with a protection valve, or you can steal air with a ''T'' fitting in the main air feed to the range valve. I am not a Guru when trying to type this.
  2. you did,, sorry, i read it too fast..
  3. does your truck have the neutralizing air control for P.T.O. operation? if not, thats the wrong diagram. I have all the Mack books for this but before, I post any thing that may ad confusion
  4. it sounds like the fuel pick up line is clogged, take the fitting off and see what comes out, a milk jug makes a good catch can..
  5. Bendix DC-4...
  6. pretty rims, are those the right tires? rims look wide, like for 315/385/ or 425's.. just curious. really nice coating job for sure..
  7. what are you wnating to change? the injector or the EUP? keep your wallet closed for now.. A bunch of us can save you some trouble, also, you are reacting to a 4 year old post.. #2, we need to know what the issue is, and what you want from the repair.. too many newbies are sucked in to spending money for no reason.. Jojo
  8. yes you can, you have to take the knob apart ond cut the lock out the doesnt allow a low range split.. but the 18spd. knob was $65.00 back when I was doing this.. so why not buy the correct knob
  9. the shift knob for the 2090 is different, the 2130/2180. is the same tranny, the shift knob is the difference. Red splitter: 13 spd.... Gray splitter: 18 spd.....
  10. You are amzing Dean.. The workmanship is amazing to me.. I look forward to seeing you guy's and the truck next year.. Jojo
  11. good call on the landing zone... 👍
  12. Dean, is this the same truck you had at Spencer this summer? Jojo
  13. I bet they will make Pretty Puppie's...
  14. I assume you got it to break loose?
  15. there are NO pins just loosen the castle nut and strike the end of the steering arm and it will fall out, leave the nut on a turn or 2 so it dont hit the ground..it may take a few strikes, but she'll come...
  16. loosen the fuel lines at the injection pump and turn it over till it spits..
  17. the 225 Mopar was great, the Ford 300 ,, well yes, the best of the group.. I have to bow down to that engine,, I'm always a Bowtie guy forever.. my 78 didnt have power steering, just power brakes.. It would float the valves at 98 MPH..
  18. I certainly understand your decision..
  19. I would love to have a square body C-10 with a 250 straight six and 3 on the tree.. that was my first of about 8 square bodies.. I still drive my home made C-30 redneck truck..
  20. non that I have heard of.. probaly wont happen.. Oh well..
  21. well thats what having more under wear in the dresser drawer is for.. Man, every so often I remind myself of a Boo Boo or dumba$$ move I've made that could have been BAD.. However, the lessons I learned made me much smarter..
  22. Auto matic power divider in Mack rears SUCK!!!!, the wholething about how it divides the traction power to each wheel 25% per wheel is hogwash.. the wheel with the leaste traction spins... the only way to make that system work good is if you had 4 seperate trolley brakes to engage any drive wheel you choose, individually.. to stop it from spinning, and then the wheels on the ground wil grab.. of course you will need to let the brake off once you are on all fours.. Just more of my crazy sh!t..
  23. Yes, electric over air is what ive seen. There is a light and audible warning, and i think the newer macks wont run over 25 mph too... So really the driver IS doing less driving.
  24. They do not come standard with pdlo.. you have to order it. Yes its air operated
