  1. Hell yeah!!!!! You go "F"..... I really like seeing people get help here.. I've seen it often lately... Jojo
  2. I just remembered... DM... Dump/Mixer...
  3. Too damn funny... Thanks
  4. have you installed a pressure gauge on the fuel inlet hose to the engine, or "T" into the output line before the regulator and run the truck with a load and read the pressure? I have one made up with 20' of hose so it can ride with me in the cab.. 80-100 PSI is good. if the pressure bounces a lot, may even get down to 50 or less theres a good chance the pump is slipping or failing.. If you have the fuel sensor located at the regulator, you ca take it out, install a "T" then put the sensor back in and put the gauge on too, and test it... if it's good, Then refer to "F's" post. Jojo
  5. I think RD stands for ... Refuse/Dump... (CH... Const./Highway)... (MR... Municiple/Refuse) (CL... Const./Logging) (LE... Low Entry).. Dont know what RB is... Heck I may be full of crap too, but, somewhere I remember someone telling me this... Jojo
  6. Yes sir... Thats true, the brass axle gets a flat spot that messes with the roller. What amazes me is when I do a cam job on an E-tech that runs.. (crappy but runs) and I pull lifters out that are so worn out the roller is gone and it's riding on the yoke of the lifter, and it didnt'nt drop a valve , bend a pushrod, or any other major damage.. 🤔
  7. Very common problem... I think mack says the roller, stops rolling, and that's the result.. after you get it fixed, adjust the valves according to Mack spec.. also if you have engine brakes (690 Jacobs) buy A 215SB321 reset screw kit for the rockers and bridges. Jojo
  8. I was impressed with how the parts for the '90 E-7 I built was packaged... Heck it even came with piston cooling tubes bolts and balls... The Mack kit doesn't..
  9. yes sir.. I respect youre views,. It's all good... Iv'e learned to agree to dissagree without being A jerk.. Take care sir.. Jojo
  10. I agree with the winner was the one with the least vote's as being "ODD".. I remember Nov. 3rd. 2020 something similar happened then too... Go figure....
  11. It's not OK to attack our gov't... Just like it's not Ok to Shutdown travel within the U.S. ie: Florida.... But it's Ok to open up free travel into the U.S. through our southern border, and Without covid testing, B.T.W. Common sense Know's No political party... Jojo
  12. I agree... We have an amendment for that. Just need to get it all in before Biden removes it...
  13. the firewall selenoid has 3 large wires on one post and 1 larger wire by it self. put a test light on the large single wire post, it should not be lit at this time... turn the key to start and then the light will light, if not, check the little wire for the key signal. if its a 4 post check the small ground post wire for a good ground to the cab. most of them are 3 pin selenoids that are self grounding. if still no power on the single big wire after this test, R+R the selenoid.. jojo
  14. Man.... there's so many stupid things that happen, that we wouldn't think about at first.... then after a ton of time and work... you find a soda bottle cap liner in the tank,.. Hell,,, one time on an E-7, I had cut open an oil filter to check engine health. it was full of silver flakes... i dug into it all day, drained the engine oil through a strainer, and there a few clear plastic discs in the strainer... it was oil bottle cap seals, and the silver coating made it to the filters... It totally fooled me to thinking I had metal wearing in the engine.... I totally get it..... jojo
  15. Just for kicks carefully put air pressure in the tank with a blowgun and a rag to cover the filler hole, have a buddy look for fuel leaks starting with tank lines to the primary filter. I wonder if you are sucking air... i guess you havent changed the old fuel filters. also look in the fuel tanks for debris. I have found ; grass, sticks left by people checking the fuel level, and the twig broke, also, I have found electrical tape in the tanks. Many years ago an old timer told that, fired employees would drop a small roll of electrical tape in the tanks, it just loosens up and unrolls... then gets sucked up. check the simple things first. Good luck, Jojo
  16. Drop the pan,,, and look up! you'll find it.... jojo
  17. Every-so-often..... I find deep scratches on the rocker shafts.. where the rockers pivot.. This causes a squeak or chirping sound.... Jojo
  18. make sure the champher in the EUP bore is spotless before going back in..
  19. Sweet, thanks again... The last '90 E-7 I built, was 90 percent P.A.I. it's been 8 months, still gettin it done... jojo
  20. air dryer and D-2 governor at the same time... Next time i look at a midland pump issue, I will look into repair kits. Thanks rob...
  21. John the fuel jumper is just 7 little pieces. Yes mack still sells the correct parts for this... For now:) jojo
  22. Yes and bolt right in,, just have to make new coolant hoses, and re-locate intake and output pipes based on application. I suggest buyin the offset intake nipple for the Bendix.. You can use this to get the right part if needed... CH613/118032... Thats one of my old trucks... I have gotten remans from outside truck parts vendors for under $400.00...Jojo
  23. Heck, I forgot about midlands. yes they are good as well..
  24. I always liked the Bendix Tu-Flow compressors better than those wabco"s..
  25. Bingo!
