  2. When I was with the construction co. In Scarborough Maine,. The last tractor that was assigned to me was a '97 RD.. E-7 400,,, 18 spd. Mack tranny,,, Mack Rears, 4.17 I think.. it would out pull the new E-Tech 427's... At the time.. Jojo

  12. I forgot to add that I was also driving late 70's DM's with rookie rods.. of course I drove Mack 'R' model, tractor trailers too.. jojo
  13. When I was driver in the late 90's -2001... I was in construction. I was on MANY job sites with, grade stakes and catch basins and piles of stuff and material, and oh yeah,,,,, a bunch of guys on the ground.. not to metion the ocasional counterwieght swing around in front of my truck.. jojo

  15. I dont what SMC is, but when I can I use Brass Compression fittings.. I do use Brass push lock types as well, and I like them, however, I think Compression fittins are the best for a long lasting assembly.. Jojo P.S.: NO Plastic quick connects.. J.M.O.
  16. It sounds like the valves were run 180 degrees out...are you sure you were up on #1 when you started the valve adjustment ?? There is an easy way to tell that you are up on #1.. I would confirm valve adjustment before spending more money.. Jojo

    are the starter wires hooked up correctly?? Was a starter ground left off and is hanging there?
  24. ok.. next to your name on your page is the word "Create" click it, then click topic.. pick Engine and transmission for the catagory.. Keep the title short and to the point, then in the notes type the year and mdel and engine and tranny in your question.. It helps get more answers.. Good Luck,, jojo
