  1. going back and forth on your other post about the air lines to trailer. a "94 is too new for me to know its air schematic. red button out shouldn't be air coming out trailer emergency line (red) during brake application. between that issue and air bags doing nothing with the switch ;first thought is someone has lines crossed.
  2. that suspension valve shouldn't be connected to trailer supply valve on the tractor . many trailers pick there supply off the red line for suspension
  3. last time i heard such a vague question asked ; i made the mistake of saying "i do" . what did you mean till death due us part.
  4. correction;; up/down can also be left/right movement referring to toggle switch.
  5. up/down toggle will normally exhaust a small amount of air which is the sound in the dash.
  6. so possibly the phrase "toggle switch up " just refers to flipping the switch up/ down; not a movement same as raising RPMs using a rapid toggling motion
  7. if possible; may I ask what switch cover would you be referring to?see a later post discussing trailer button leak . one in the same ?? the toggle switch part has this old man scratching his head.
  8. quick/cheap yoke holding tool is a ;; cut to length 4x4. cut a tad longer then yoke sitting horizontal to ground . you really want a fancy "tool" then 2 nails on opposite sides of the 4x4 to connect a short bungee cord over the yoke, it holds the yoke to the 4x4 tighter so you can put full effort in the impact gun . takes ALL the shock from traveling to the gear train. on a real budget then use a 2x4.
  9. 903 with headers and DD blower must be quite the sounding unit. see they kept the emergency shut down unit on it. Brockway used the 903 a lot as well as other truck manufactures back in the day

  11. another one of the many positives of U-tube ; watching the drag racing of the '60's :: tasca ford/ stone ;woods and cooke/ dyno don and so many others. also listening to the sounds of someone shifting a quad.

  15. nice picture of the G T O. I have a "to do jar " similar. I take a board game dart and throw it at the jar. deal with the Wife is what ever "job " is stuck to the dart when i pull it from the plastic jar is the one that gets done.. so far she hasn't figured out why the ticket doesn't stay on the dart when removed from side of jar << LOL

  20. wonder if this is the technology we were talking about in the redesign forum! don't remember any B-models having a "wake up" wire . and to show my old age what is a CCRS engine or a VECU EECU . in B-model terms is that an injection pump to injectors . I don't think my 1/25 scale B-81 has a CCRS engine; and I know the 1/25 DM800 doesn't . that's being repowered with a 600hp t win turbo cummins.
  21. guess that's where the phrase " things change with the times" . imagine if the Mack bros or Henry Ford came back to todays world . have to wonder would they be amazed at technology or sadden by the mess. another 65-75yrs most of us will be gone; what would we come back to?? amazing technology or a BIGGER MESS. in high school I designed a 3 dimensional drawing of a big rig; combo off set cab and the freightliner hood. before freightliner came out with it. no I don't have it threw too many things away.

GO BACK ONLY 20YRS;; i'm all in favor of going back when an engine ran well, smoked a little , ran for=== A LONG TIME : I'm no fool-won't put a number in that spot. can't go back physically , toooo bad. "new tech" has one goal :what's in it for me. this electric crap- one starts the process everyone else jumps in so as not to loose $$$. take away alot of the electronic stuff , let the driver drive it ; you won't have a 250k truck on the side of the road because of a sensor or what ever. this is only an ole man thoughts, I can remember if a truck had a million miles or more without a major repair it was big time bragging rite.sure they run for millions more miles today , how many times in the shop do todays "junk"end up to get all those miles.
  23. unlike today's world, things back then were much simpler, many parts were interchangeable. the fact the suspension looked the same was possibly they were. even with the major farm equipment builders; knowing farmers then didn't have alot of $$$$ , manufactures of the equipment =rakes, wagons, balers etc made them the same so a farmer didn't have to buy a new tractor each time. the above trailer looks to be using same suspension as the AC . even the box of the trailer is similar to that of a rail car box.. it was a "world of one size fits all" LOL
  24. bigger diameter cans 30/30 will displace more lbs pressure resulting in one axle working harder =quicker brake wear
