Yes his had independent front suspension. Yours has a solid axle. Yes I just laid the a/c and power steering aside. electrically it was plug and play. And I got all the bell bolts with the cab still on the frame. Not easy but I did it.

Did it to my brother in law 2006 f 150 5.4 triton. I'm not a Ford tech took 3 week ends. Torque converter bolts suck. They want you to get pullers for the power steering pully but I just worked the bolt out on turn at a time and same for the air condition pump. Think I had to drop the front axle a little. Be carefull with the vacum lines for the front hubs if it's a 4 wheel drive. Good luck.

Lock in the power divider and head on down the road. I pull my trailer back to PA from Roanoke Va. Empty on the power divider.

Well the cx needed a rad. So that why I've been running the RW. The goal was to order it after Christmas and put it in after the new year. So I call on the 29th Monday they say 3 to 5 days no problem I'm thinking I'll have ot Friday. Nope Monday or Tuesday cause Conway doesn't truck on new years, i can live with that. Well Last Tuesday I call Conway and they say it's in Wyoming do to bad weather. WHAT A week and it's in WY. Well it showed up to day. And guess what correct box wrong rad. I'm not saying anything bad about RHS radiator they are air shipping the correct one to take care of it. I'm not happy at all with Conway Express. They could have a better costumer service relationship.
