  1. The main difference is in the axle ratings. RD690S the biggest rear bogie was 44 thousand. SX 52000 up to 80000 bogies.
  2. 7.93 x 4.17 x .78= 25.79 2100 / 25.79= 81.426 mph Ill bet your 1st od is .87 and final od is .78.
  3. Sounds like he didnt spline it correctly and advanced the timing way too much.
  4. Mack offers a medium duty called the GU432/532. The GU432 is set forward axle and the 532 is set back. This chassis was just release last month. Has the Cummins 8.9 Litre engine.
  5. I thought they were always built into the fuel tanks.
  6. I have a complete rebuild kit(NEW) and 2 cylinder heads for sale. These parts fit Mack E6-2valve head engines. The cylinder heads are genuine reman Mack heads. Part number 732GB4397X. They have the vertical exhaust stud mounting but they will interchange with horizontal. The rebuild kit is also genuine Mack Kit(NEW). Part number is 215SB196C. It comes with standard rod and main bearings. All this for $2,630.00 plus the bus ride to you. Very good discount for someone wanting to rebuild their engine. I DO NOT want your old cylinder heads for cores. You can contact me at 918.697.8473
  7. As a 2nd generation Mack Dealer I can understand all the comments about this subject. We have been here in Tulsa for 52 years and only have dealt in Mack products. If you want the Mack symbol to carrying on for years to come, go and support your local Mack dealer. Our history is great and should be told to anyone that will listen. We cant go back to the old ways but look to the future and carry the name with pride.
  8. The two most overated things in this world are young women and Peterbilt trucks. Like I have said in the past they have never built the whole truck.
  9. Just found a box in my warehouse with a bunch of RH/LH door latches for CF fire chassis. Part number 20RM11 and 20RM12. If anyone needs some, please contact me. I will be very reasonable. I hate to throw good parts away.
  10. Price a factory reman from your local Mack dealer. Might spend a few dollars more, but the warranty is superior.
  11. Also realize if you do put a back box on your nine speed to convert to a 13 speed you will have to do some driveline work too. If a nine speed has a .73OD and a 13speed has a .73OD you will run the same speed at any give rpm. You will get better performance out of the 13 speed because the steps(gear ratios)are closer together.
  12. WOW!!! .60 OD T-2080 and .81 OD for the 1241. It will run fast if the 300 will pull it.
  13. Just found out I have a new never installed RH windshield for an F model. I dont need it. It needs a good home. Make me an offer. RJH.
  14. I checked and its not there. The part number is correct. If you can get your old one out, you might find a glass shop to cut one for you.
  15. I HAVE ONE(1) LH DRIVERS WINDSHIELD FOR AN MH CABOVER. NEW NEVER BEEN INSTALLED. MAKE ME AN OFFER. LOCATED IN TULSA, OKLAHOMA.
  16. I might have one. But if my memory serves me right there is a right hand and left. Which side are you needing????
  17. As a second generation Mack Dealer I'm very proud of our heritage. Yes Mack has had their problems just like all truck manufacturers have had in past and will in the future. This market is a world market today. With the EPA and all the government regulations it would be hard to stand alone with all the engineering cost. Paccar has been profitable, but they have never step out and tried to engineer and build their own powertrain. Engineering an EPA engine is a hell'va lot harder then sitting around grooming cabs and sleepers.
