  1. My T 880 only has 2,714.3 miles on it. 😁 what engine? I have a 565 HP 15 litre Cummins with the allison roughduty 6 speed.
  2. i have seen mack DM800's with mack, cat, detroit, and cummins V8's , and mack , cat, cummins, and detroit six cylinders in them. i also saw one with an air cooled Deutz V-8 in it.
  3. finally, one that works!! so your new ride is a western star sucker job.
  4. well, when he put it in first, i saw the gauge panel move
  5. Jo jo, they are posting in an invalid format. you can see your onedrive pics, but no one else can
  6. Paul, U and DM had same cabs. the difference was in the firewall. U had engine partly in the cab, DM did not. we had a DM with wrecked cab, dash, roof ,and back wall. (a jerk in a 980 was driving through the yard with bucket up and "did not see it" put the cutting edge into the bottom of the windshield area and ripped the cab off the truck) we put put a used U cabin excellent condition on it. cut the DM firewall out, and welded it into the U cab than put it on the truck
  7. i would either move the gauges or bend the shifter a bit so it does not hit the gauges.
  8. if he does, i will ban both your azzes!!!!! ðŸĪĢ
  9. Paul, be glad you only have a princess and not a queen!!
  10. You should try new joisey.....50 at 5 am, 85 at 5 pm. Sometimes we will see 25 degree temp swings in 1 hour
  11. is that 37C, or 37F paul? ðŸĪĢ
  12. i had an 87 F150 stepside come in to the shop once with erratic throttle. 302 with SROD trans. the throttle shaft on the throttle body was so worn out the throttle would bind on full throttle. it also had a massive vacuum leak through the shaft bushings. the guy did not believe me till i showed him. got a throttle body out of a junk yard from a low mile wreck. cost $150 total for diagnosis and repair. it had been to 4 other shops and no one could figure out what was wrong with it.
  13. that would be MorrisMe. they were B21's, both from seattle fire. have the giant Hall Scott engines. his last log on was 2-23-24
  14. cleaning the air here does no good when pollution comes in from other countries. all we can hope for is that once team stupid is replaced we still have a country to run and the new leaders will undo all the policies of team stupid.
  15. remove all warning signs and let Mr Darwin give out his awards freely!!!
  16. heated mirrors are nice in fog, or when you drive through different temp and moisture zones. here in New Jersey it is not strange to be driving in sunny cool, than drop into a valley where it is cloudy or foggy and moist. instant no see out of mirrors. they also work real good when someone slashes a bit of water up, the heat dries them out quickly.
  17. once a topic has gone offtrack, the train has left the terminal never to be seen again!!!...ðŸĪŠ
  18. Larry, i found the old flippy fones were 2 or 3G at best. that is why they work so good. the now stupid fones are 4 and 5 g. and the more "G"'s the make them seems the sheitier they are, and yes i know they now offer flippers again. but my new job requires that i keep the stupid fone.
  19. it was a few years ago. they did not sell any flip phones at the time. i had to stick with verizon as they were the only cell carrier that had service in some of the areas i worked.
  20. i tried explaining to verizon wireless that i work in secure facilities where no cameras or computers are allowed, and their answer was sorry we no longer offer plain phones. only stupid phones (as i call them) i see they now offer a phone only again. guess too many people complained
  21. Mom still has her OLD rotary phone. Refuses to get one of them "new fangled contraptions" she is 93 and set in her ways 😁
  22. I want my old flipper phone back! No it did not have internet access, but at least it worked any time I made a call. This new one I have to double check auto correct(which can't turn off), and even after double checking it stillchanges words when I hit send. Like in my comment to jo jo. It was SUPPOSED to say are You Insuniating ole blue, not are toy insinuating
  23. They did water pump and new exhaust on mine at 63,000 miles under warranty. Didn't cost me a penny
  24. are toy trying to insinuate "ol blue" keeps your mechanic skill on top of their game?
