  1. I'll have to look at the old fire trucks, I think they are all Mack (there is at least 2 or 3 down in the yard) I don't really know the story of all the trucks...most of them were traded in or bought for scrap years ago. We have just started buying B's for used parts, etc...I'll try to post more pics soon!
  2. Some are listed, but we just got several of them...I need to find the vins and submit them for the registry. These photos are just from one corner of the yard (the B section) you should see some of the other stuff back there! Old buses, old ford and chevy vans, fire trucks! Tons of cool stuff just rusting away. I will get some more pics when I can...
  3. Here are some photos I just took from our bone yard...We have lots of other stuff too, but the "Old Section" of the yard is grown over with weeds right now. Enjoy!
  4. Yeah, I would go with a piggyback pto/pump combo and leave the drive shaft out of the equation. I spec out almost 100% piggybacks setups for the new trucks we sell. (Muncie Power Products)
  5. You need to get one of those big missle launcher, all terrrain trucks that Oshkosh makes! Your neighbors would love it! PS...Hey Doug...this pic of the G Mod would make a great Truck of the Month pic...hint, hint! LOL
  6. In my Opinion, the E9 is a solid engine, but don't mess with the pump settings too much. Seems like the ones that get tweaked too much are the ones that have problems. We stock alot of V8 Parts and most are still available...the only things that are hard to get at the moment are water pumps and turbos!
  7. Bump!! Don't forget to add events to the Calendar! Be sure to include directions, dates, times, contacts...any info you can! You can also post in the Events forum for extra coverage. If you haven't noticed, the events listed in the calendar appear in the front page of the forums 5 days before the event as a reminder! So keep them coming! If you have any trouble adding an event, just email me the info and I will post it for you. mail to: wmsi@alltel.net
  8. Hope you're feeling better, Doug. At least you got the internet to keep you busy until your back up to par!
  9. Welcome to BMT! Glad to have you aboard! Truck looks pretty nice, looks like you got a good piece to start with! Hope you enjoy the forums...keep us posted with lots of pics and write up's on your various projects!
  10. You can get Bulldog brand (made by Exide) from your local Mack dealer or any place that sells batteries should have group 4's.
  11. I don't know how your system is set up, but typically B-Mod's used BCI group 4 6volt batteries. One good tip is to replace all the batteries at the same time...one weak battery can suck the life out of a brand new battery.
  12. Hi Steve, welcome to BMT! You came to the right place...Lots of people here to help you with ideas and knowhow! Enjoy...

  16. Those look pretty cool! Are those LEDs or regular sealed beams?
  17. Thanks guys! Between Monte's Equipment and Olson's, I think we got it found! Thanks again...
  18. Does anyone have a source for Continental parts? I am looking for an exhaust gasket for an EN330. Also a exh pipe flange gasket and a carb to manifold gasket. I already tried Montes Equipment in Chicago with no luck. (Finders fee=T-shirt & hat!)
  19. Well, they share the same block, but the injectors, turbo, pump and maybe the pistons are different in order to produce a bit more horsepower over the 675 (237). Most gaskets, etc...are interchangable between a 237 & 250...

  23. I've seen people weld upper spring seats to the rear housing to adapt air ride, but I am not sure what suspension they were using...but it can be done.
  24. Awesome...those will work. I am waiting for a guy to call me back from alcoa. I also called Accuride for a quote. So out of 2 companies, maybe we can get something happening. Inital numbers are looking like a minimum buy of 500 pieces no mix and match so we may have to settle on 22.5 only.
  25. Doug, I did get the email and it looks pretty promising. Do you or anyone have a photo of what the wheels should look like? Just so I can confirm they are talking about the right thing? Post here or email it to: wmsi@alltel.net and we'll see what we can get going!
