  1. I'm lucky if I put 400 miles a year on my Roadking and when I do get out I have a hard time relaxing being surrounded by texting idiots

Send it to Matt. He'll fix that cab.
  3. Almost 2 years ago. 55' 2 man platform.
  4. That means I'll probably live forever
  5. Does MD 20/20work too?
  6. Thanks Brocky. I was going to be reaching out to them. I bought a T300 out of Ohio a few years ago and got in touch with a member there. Turned out the owner of the truck was one of his customers and he had been working on it for years. Small world....
  7. I was wondering if anyone here knows anyone who could look over a truck 60 miles east of Austin. It's a 99 Freightliner FL70 with a sign crane on it.
  8. I've got an 02 NPRHd too but 5.7 gas and 4l80e trans. Just had the trans rebuilt a couple of weeks ago at 250000 miles. Threw a used 50k mile engine in at 225k.I didn't want the deisel as a 5.7 small block is a whole lot cheaper to replace. I paid 2000 for the truck 6 years ago, 1000 for the ambulance body and 1800 for the bucket. This thing doesn't owe me anything.
  9. We had to watch those type of films when I was in drivers ed class in 1981. They were very real. Still can't forget the guy pulled out of a burnt 65 Impala. He was totally blackened and crisp. About as graphic as you could get.
  10. Hippy how many trucks did they get at the Deering show?
  11. Herbie Fleck is a great guy. I got my Autocar from him. I usually drive that Pete in the video to Macungie.
  12. Does liverwurst count?
  13. Massachusetts does not have gvw on antique registrations truck or not. They are in the same class as RV. When I get an inspection sticker I am charged the auto rate not the commercial truck rate. This is all done thru the state RMV computer system. On another topic you can pull a trailer over 10k as long as the towing vehicle and trailer gvw does not exceed a total of 26k. This is actually written on the back of my CDL license. So a 12k gvw f350 can pull a 14k trailer and be non CDL. Just don't hook up to an f450.
  14. I've git antique plates on the Acar, R model and my 57 IH those are insured by Hagerty for $430 a year total. The B model pickup is insured through Grundy full insurance ("classic car") about $150 a year and they did not require me to use antique plates. I can drive that one any time I want. I guess they figure it's a low exposure situation
  15. OD just put antiques plates on it. Insurance thru Hagerty or Grundy costs next to nothin.
  16. Big purple was parked behind our trucks and where we had our chairs set up. It was interesting to see it right up til the dingus who brought it fired it up every 15 minutes and went wide open over and over with the exhaust pointing straight at us. Then he would do the same thing withe the detroit in his pickup. I guess he wanted to be the local mosquito control.
  17. Photo at 6 am this morning. Arrived back 1 pm
  18. Usually 5 to 6 hour run
  19. I'll be there. I think it's my 24th or 25th tome
