  1. Gentlemen thank you for your kindness. They posted the link yesterday in the hopes of raising a goal in a few weeks. In the span of less than 12 hours, they are halfway there. Tom, I had no idea. You have my sincerest condolences. I hate cancer with a passion. It has taken so many family members and friends, too. My wife is a cancer nurse, so I also get to hear about it on a clinical level too- she often connects with her patients only to lose them in a few weeks, months or years. My heart breaks for her, I keep telling her not to get personal with the patients but a Nurse (especially a dedicated one) cannot do that.
  2. http://www.gofundme.com/7d9t38 Ladies and Gentlemen, especially Veterans of the Armed Forces but most especially the USMC: I normally do not share stuff like this, however this one hits close to home. Allow me to explain- Reagan Odhner is a member of my Volunteer Company (as is her sister- who is an active interior firefighter and who also just got hired as a cop in Prince George's County, Maryland.) Her family and my family are very close. Reagan served honorably in the USMC for 4 years. She was recently diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer and is in need of financial assistance to help offset the costs of treatments. I am asking my BMT Family to please consider helping her. I know times are tough, so if you cannot help financially, take a moment of your time and say a prayer for this extraordinarily outstanding young lady and her family as well. Also if you are able please share this link on your facebook or through your email contacts. Thank you for your time. In Truck Brotherhood, YARDO.
  3. Uh huh.
  4. I was all hot and bothered till I got to "290 Cummins."
  5. Hey Matt, tell that worthless Asst Chief or Deputy or Fire Marshal or whatever he is this week to go over to the Mack Museum one day when he gets off work (shit he can WALK over to the place......) and see Don Schumaker, the curator of the museum. Tell the load to take the truck's serial number. There is an 8-10 week wait for information but it will be well worth your while. And when you do receive your large box in the mail, MAKE SURE YOU GUYS WRITE A DONATION CHECK to the museum. You will understand why when you receive your LARGE, HEAVY BOX. Tell the "load" that Yardo sends his love. You can tell Scheiter, too. And Mogensen if he still comes around. -Randy Yardumian (Montco 11, BAFC)
  6. Try JC Taylor in Upper Darby, Pa. They carry the FWD Firetruck. You can also try Condon and Skelly in Maple Shade, NJ. I used to use them, but they switched underwriters and raised my rates without telling me, so I jumped ship. Other than that (which really pissed me off) I had no hiccups with them.
  7. HEY!!! You seen a piss-yellow deuce coupe around here????
  8. Vlad, these are not too far from The Mahan Family's home, kind of surprised they have not purchased them. They must not want to negotiate on the price at all??????
  9. I just got this from Emergency Management. Pennsylvania has issued a temporary moratorium on hours of service regulations for those hauling road salt for municipal uses- due to the extreme shortage of road salt throughout the State. EXEMPTION_2014-04final.pdf
  10. He was on this morning breaking his own balls over the video going viral and being on all the night talk shows like Kimmel and the Tonight show......He's being a pretty good sport about it. Does not claim to be hurt at all, and has no animosity towards the plow driver- who's wife is a fan of the show and apparently called in. Rumor has it the producers of the show are setting up a live televised meet for later this week.
  11. Easiest fix: Open the drain nut on the pan, drain out all the crankcase oil, then light it off....It will repair itself in a rapid, orderly military manner.
  12. This is Steve Keeley, from Fox 29 in Philly and I actually watched this happen LIVE this morning. A few of the ladies in the studio actually screamed when it happened. He didn't even get knocked over and just kept on reporting. He's pretty cool, too. I have met him on a few fire scenes. One time a few summers ago we were getting our asses kicked at a brush fire and we didn't have any water or anything- he went and got a few cases of water and he apologized that they were not cold!!!!!!
  13. Piss on it. Stay at home and look at interweb porn errrrrr ahhhh I mean BMT.com
  14. Gentlemen....The best favor we could do for the lad is NOT help him get to his wedding......... JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!! I don't need anything moved, but do extend my congrats to you and your bride for your upcoming nuptuals.......
  15. Mack, Slpwlkr and me are going to make us a Mack sammich when we go to bed....!!!!!!
  16. The Iowa 80 Chrome Shop website has some fantastic locomotive horn sets.....Considering one with an electric compressor/tank set up for the FWD (has juice brakes....)
  17. Yes Don is the one you are looking for. His email is mack.museum@macktrucks.com. Send him an email with your serial number and that you are requesting copies of any and all materials in your factory file. The wait time is 8-10 weeks, between numerous requests and because they are also volunteers.
  18. That is absolutely NOT a 300 Plus. Looks to me like a 237. Get your file from the Museum, it should have all the original build sheets. They will also send you model-specific engine and driveline manuals, hence the big, heavy boxes. Don't be cheap when you write them a check. 8-10 weeks wait time for your files by the way. But WELL worth it.
  19. Send an email to the Mack Museum with your serial number and request a copy of your file. Be sure to send them a NICE donation- you will understand why when the large, heavy box arrives via UPS. Free by the way.
  20. No they think you are Chewbacca. Get it right.
  21. All he ever does is eat my food, drool on my FWD and scare my kids.
  22. "Small" was so excited down at Disney (this past Sept) that he fell sound asleep at dinner at the Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge. Fortunately I didnt have to carry him far cause this was where we were staying.
  23. Our rescue greyhound, "Chloe" (RIP) and her pal "Indy" (short for Indiana Jones).
