  1. We make a run down to the Outer Banks of NC 3-4 times a year with 3 (ooops now 4) kids....10 hour ride......Trust me on this: go to Walmart, drop $40 on a portable DVD player. Knowing the serenity that it can bring, I would drop $400 on one....!!!! (oh and also keeping them up as late as possible and then leaving at 1:00am so that they sleep the majority of the trip helps too!!!!)
  2. Roger that, cant says I blame you. If you ever do come across I-78 in Pa. I am exit 67 (Bethlehem/Allentown.) Coffee is on me.
  3. if you come across I-78 through the Allentown/Bethlehem Pa area lemme know. I'll buy the coffee.
  4. Oh....Now I am really skeered........please....anything but that! Anything!!!! I dont know if that was said to intimidate or impress me, it did neither. Actually it amused me. BWAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!
  5. I didn't mention any names. So neener neener..............!
  6. The family and I will be in Wilmington NC from 7/12 to 7/21. Anyone in the area wanna do a meet up for coffee or something???
  7. Some guy on here- wont mention any names but his handle rhymes with "fatkitty"....His family tree is a wreath.
  8. You've never gotten drunk before?
  9. If you forget the flour you can just lick all the folds until you taste shit and then back up one.........
  10. carlotpilot private message me your mailing address if you want one.
  11. Ok for your consideration two mid-1980's COE Freightliner cab lock release handles.....Up for grabs....Same terms as listed in the original post........Plus the other unknown items..........
  12. Made by Alcoa and very light. Will not cost a lot to ship to you via USPS priority mail.
  13. My father swears these are cab mount brackets for a Hayward F-Model. (He thinks the Allentown brackets are different but not 100% sure....) Gentlemen's agreement: 1. You yourself use these **OR** give them to someone who can 2. You will not re-sell them for the thousands of dollars they are probably worth or give them to someone who will do the same.... 3. You send me a check for whatever I put into sending them to you for..... and I will give them to you. I want for a fellow BMT'er to have these if you can truly use them. Reach out to me if interested.
  14. The blue oval phone is broken
  15. Carl this will be the first year in about 15 years that I am not going. For those of you who have never been, for any antique firetruck enthusiast this is the World Series, Super Bowl and Stanley Cup Finals of firetruck musters all rolled into one.
  16. 17. Harvey says "WTF?" in more politically-correct terminology.
  18. Carl, I copied the picture and sent it in an email to Harvey Eckert. When he replies I'll post it here.
  19. Puckerbrush, Nevada (population 28) home of the T/A Truckstop (yes the whole town is/works at the truckstop) I forget where on I-80, out in the middle of nozzing for 300 miles in each direction. They used to have a great t-shirt that said "WHERE IN THE HELL IS PUCKERBRUSH?"
  20. Nice pics but where in the hell is Puckerbrush?
  21. The ladies say "Happy Birthday Kenny, You Stud Muffin!"
  22. You do know that the Mopar Weekend in Carlisle Pa is next weekend, right? You should take a ride and walk through the flea market. Might come across what you are looking for or at least network with people who could find what you need.
  23. Paul, Saturday is also the Pennsylvania Pump Primers annual Muster in Harrisburg Pa. If you have never been to it, it's the Super Bowl/Stanley Cup/World Series of Fire Truck Musters all rolled into one.
  24. Grrrrr. I'll be on my way to Wilmington NC.
