  1. yes, grossing 100,000+ !!!!!!!!! Me LIKEY!!!!
  2. Methinks if he had his Superdog he would have made you eat your words!!!!!!
  3. Good luck, finding 900/20's made in the USA is getting harder and harder. I think my FWD has the last set if Goodyears ever made.
  4. gearhead don't mean to pour cold water on you but if you don't land until 1645, getting to the TK by 1900 would be a miracle. Not counting the fact that you are landing in the middle of prime-time rush hour, you have the construction on I476 to deal with.......Realistically you probably won't even clear the airport until 1730"ish" and you are looking at an easy 1.5-2 hour ride to the TK......You might make it but if you do it will be by the skin of your teeth. Doug- count the Yardo family "in." (Me, Missus, plus L, M, S & XS.)
  5. Yes, silly me where the hell is my head?
  6. Ray thanks for helping my buddy with shipping that pumper. As I am sure you saw, they had little to nothing, and to them, getting that CF Pumper was like getting a Space Shuttle after flying paper airplanes for years. And Kudos to East Farmingdale, Long Island for donating it to them.
  7. Can we install a brass pole in your trailer? Or are we still doing that in Ken's set up?
  8. Do you have any idea how much the ribs of a plastic bedliner hurt your back when you are.........uhhhh.........ummmmmmm.....Anyways they just hurt!
  9. This does not apply to Otherdog, Slpwlkr, and a few select other criminals persons. Had this been regarding F.W.D. she wouldn't have commented and would have just started to strip.
  10. It's already been done, lemme see if I can find the pics
  11. Where is Roanoke is that single screw F-Model (at least in the pix it looks like a single screw) is it on a for sale lot????
  12. Uhhhhhhhh perhaps you missed the part about the rod through the block?
  13. Thank you, I just threw up my breakfast. And no reason to ever worry about those gears being razor sharp.
  14. DT466? 6V53? 8.3 Detroit??? in a B-Model Mack????? You all need to be executed by firing squad. Or bitch slapped with the rubber chicken; I cannot decide which. That is all. Carry on.
  15. She does pretty respectably, but now I know why I can only get an average of 14.5mpg around town, but then again my right foot is pretty heavy, especially when on the way home from work which is a 25 mile ride. Just took her down to the Outer Banks and back and set the cruise control at about 67 the whole time and managed an average of 17.8
  16. I did some very rough math a while back and came up with 306.999999999999 or something like that..I ..LOL..I figured they used the 307 block for it....ok 325 it is!
  17. If I rented that I could get slpwlkr to haul it to my house....... Wait.....What do I need THAT for? I have the Thunder-Pumpkin powered F.W.D. in the garage!!!!
  18. Four group 31's I think- don't quote me if that's wrong. It it's right put my name all over it.
  19. The pic for Otherdog................Never woulda known anything was there.......SWMBO was slightly impressed. Not much, just slightly. Now she's making a list of more shit to do....I'm kinda worried, she has a paper and pencil........
  20. Yes- when in "Georgia Overdrive" on the downhill side.
  21. And today's adventures. Started with the small bush to the right, up against the fence/deck. Hooked this one to the Silverado in 4WD-Low and she came right out with a little bit of throttle. Then I was feeling my oats and hooked the Chevy to the big one on the left, which promptly laughed at the 307 cubic inches (5.3L) so I went and got the 554 cubic inches of Thunder Pumpkin mounted in the Four Wheel Drive platform......As always it was just a matter of mixing the right amount of horsepower, torque and gearing. The last picture is for Otherdog......The Bondo works pretty good, I just need to find some green paint now.
  22. I could pass him in the FWD with 2 cylinders out when he's empty.........
  23. oh my......the gauntlet has been thrown down and 84superdog has bitchslapped Chewbacca with his white glove!!!!!
  24. I dont know if there is anyone here that's closer to Newark than I am. It's only about an hour ride for me. I can make a day out of it and take his stuff over and then visit some friends on the Newark Fire Department. Doug Maney usually gathers up some friends and does the TK on Thursday night. I can probably come grab you at the hotel like last time Ken. I'm taking off from work on Friday morning and heading out with the FWD then, I could probably swing by the hotel and pick you up as long as you don't mind being seen in an F.W.D. The wife will be out Friday night for the picnic and to grab me, we can drop you back at the hotel. Saturday AM I'll have to figure something out because my father (usually picks me up) may be away. If he comes to get me we can get you too.
  25. I concur with Bigdogtrucker- whoever told you this is insane. I converted the F.W.D. from tube-type bias tires to tube-type radials and WHAT a difference. I'm sure the fact that the (non power steering) steer axle is also a drive axle comes into play.....But I I find that the radials are WAY better for both ride and steering.
