  1. I found this description for the pushrods This pushrod has an actual length of 8.845 inches. It is made of .375 diameter steel tube. It is tipped with one welded .375 diameter M-4 tungsten steel ball (copper flashed with hole) and one welded .375 diameter steel ball (with hole). According to this description the copper flashed end is the hard end. How long the copper will last is anyone's guess but they are probably really just worried about the assembly line
  2. Barry at watts said it is no longer available
  3. I am in need of a couple of the rear hood mounts I need one for an air ride cab, on my 1985, like he the one in this picture I also need the one that is missing in this picture for a standard mount cab on my 1975

  5. What do you mean by that? My non air ride cab firewall mounts are completely different If you are referring to the hood, the bracket attached directly to the fiberglass appears to be the same as my non air ride cab with a strange spacer and the bottom bracket

  9. I was taught a long time ago that less ether is better. Ether is fine, several of my truck had KBI cold weather metered ether injection kits on them when I got them, but they did not appear to ever been used.

  11. I am looking for a pair of the hood rollers and plates for my 1985 RS688LST with the air ride cab. The plates that I am referring to are mounted on the fiberglass hood and the passenger side plate is missing off of both of my trucks. The remaining plate on the 1985 has an additional piece Attached to it, was there an extension for the air ride cab? On the 1985 truck the roller and bracket are missing on the driver side On the passenger side the bracket for the roller is there but the roller is missing This is what the plate looks like on the 1975 hood What are the dimension of the rollers? I am looking for the missing parts or photos of the parts from other trucks so I can confirm what I have are good templates to fabricate the parts, when I have the time

  25. Great, I still need a small M I made progress with the DMV today. In and out in 30 minutes with a temporary registration, Sacramento will mail the historic plates to me soon. Now to reinstall the ignition switch. Is it normal for a truck with an air ride cab to have the exhaust stack bolted to the cab? Is it normal for there to be a band clamp connecting the flex pipe to the exhaust pipe under the cab? I also need to fix the air ride seat, its loosing pressure when I sit on it
